  1. “I need to do something. How do I help Dil?”
  2. “Tend to her, healer.” Seth walked to his room and began meditating, entering the girl’s mind.
  3. “Tell whoever that guy is to return my friend or I will hunt him for entering.”
  4. Seth looked around, helpless. He had no idea what to do.
  5. The resident healer ran into the room, placing her hand on the girls back and doing…
  6. “What do we do now, Sono?” @Ookla the Resolute
  7. “I can make myself surprisingly hardy. Give me a minute. Alex stepped aside, pulling out his knife and making many small incisions, muttering sentences.
  8. “Take me there then.”
  9. “Tell me where she is, now,” he said threateningly, stepping closer.
  10. “I need a healer! Quickly!”
  11. Alex quickly reopened the wound on his hand and muttered a word, causing the freezing spell to end after a short time. Then he muttered a second word, and raised a fist threateningly toward Sono.
  12. “I’m not going to wait. Dil is in trouble and I’m going to find her. Try to stop me if you want, I dare you to.”
  13. Alex woke up. His mind was foggy, he couldn’t think straight. What had happened? Then he remembered. Dil, what had happened? Where was she? He had to go find her. She had…destroyed the palace? That man must have come because of that. Alex would find Dil and rescue her. First he had to find her though. He started running towards the prison.
  14. Seth jumped in surprise, then called for a servant to come clean it.
  15. Alex stood up, groggy. Then he saw the man, that strange man. He was HITTING DIL! Alex stumbled forward as fast as he could and tackled the man. He wrestled the cane out of the man’s grasp with inhuman strength, then began to lay into the man with his fists, not bothering to pull out his knife.
  16. Alex dreamt of the perfect world. One where he was unimportant. Well, unimportant to most. He had his few friends, and that was enough. Dil wasn’t there, for some reason. Other than that, everything was perfect. But perfect wasn’t enough, he had to make sure Dil was ok. He looked, and in the distance he saw a rotting castle. He ran to it, the journey taking hours. Somehow, he knew Dil was there. He arrived, and saw that the castle had almost entirely Decayed. In the center was Dil, grinning. What had she done? He stepped towards her, then hesitated. This was Dil. She wouldn’t have done this without a reason. He had to trust her. Even if she’d never trusted him, never with anything important. It was better to be used then to be discarded. He reached towards her, then everything went black.
  17. Alex gritted his teeth, but the fire didn’t seem to do as much damage as it should. Alex threw the man out of the open door and slammed it. Then he rolled around in the floor until he had put out the fire.
  18. Alex ignored the pain, continuing to drag the man out.
  19. Alex drew the knife across his palm, muttering a couple of words. Then he grabbed the strange man, holding his arms tight with inhuman strength and started dragging him towards the door.
  20. Alex stepped over quickly, ready to intervene. He pulled out a small knife as well.
  21. Alex stepped out of the back, then moved over to the door, attempting to look intimidating.
