Helda tried to destroy the man’s soul, but he protected himself somehow. She shoved him to the side and took control of his body, grabbing her own. She grabbed the pan of muffins and hurt herself in the head with it, then just before she blacked out she transferred back to her body. “Let’s go,” she said to Tayen.

She snapped her eyes open and lunged at him, brushing his leg with a finger and (if possible) transporting her soul to his body.

She was, her breathing shallow.

She stayed motionless.

She didn’t say anything, motionless on the floor.

She stopped, collapsing on the ground again. She didn’t move.

“No I won’t!” She struggled towards the door.

Helda let her go. Then she dashed for the exit.
