She leaned on him, enjoying his warmth against her.

“Ok.” Her knees bent and she almost fell.

“No, I can, you can’t be any less tired.” She took a few wobbly steps.

“I’m tired. But I’ll be fine.”

Ok. Helda was exhausted from everything, she felt faint. It was much harder to make bodies than she pretended, she was surprised she was still on her feet.

“I could change how we look, if you’d like.”

“I…doubt you want to go back to the ice place. To get food though, that might be the only option.”

“I’m not surprised. Come on, let’s go,” she said, releasing him.

She wrapped him in a tight embrace.

She made the switch, pulling him across with her, into her own body. Again, she went through the process to build him a body.

Aright, I’m going to go back to my body. Are you ready?

“That’s perfect.” She sank into his embrace, enjoying the feeling of his arms wrapped around her, her head on his chest.

“So, what now?”

“…ok. I think you might be right. Thank you.”

“…oh. You should, you are worthy of forgiveness. And so much more.”

“So…you can talk now? I mean you kind of could, but that was only part of you…it was weird.”

“I love you Tayen. More than anything.”

“I will be fine. There must be a way to get rid of it. We can do it together, I know we can.”

She immediately threw her arms around him.
