    Sometimes, I feel like I have only two options. I can ignore the weight of the world pressing in on me, being happy, having fun. That means that the world gets heavier until I start bearing the weight, now heavier than it would have been if I hadn’t ignored it.

     Or, I can beat the weight of the world pressing in on me. I can survive, but there’s nothing more to it than that. I stay just strong enough to hold the pressure, but not strong enough to do anything but that.

    I ignored the weight today. It’s coming back to bite me now.
