As we all know, investiture healing restores you to your Spiritual self. This is why Kaladin didn't heal his brands for a bit. If you had an unsealed metalmind, you could remove a limb or part of the body with the cancer, and heal, causing the tumor to be safely removed and no longer an issue.

Hi, I'm back! I saw a video a while ago about crystal lattices and that led to two theories, the first is about how gemhearts hold Ligh, and the other about making perfect gemhearts. Also, polestones are another term I remember for gemhearts, and may refer to objects that can contain Investiture. For the first one, the idea is that the less flaws a gemstone has, the longer it can hold Stormlight, but why? A perfect crystal lattice would look like this, perfect on the left, flawed on the right. It is some deviation the the pattern that lets light loose, so I suggest that, Light fills the openings and forms VERY small, VERY weak bonds with the atoms in a gemheart, and when there is a deviation, there is enough room that the weak bonds break and the Light flows out, and we know all gemhearts are the same material with just a different color, so this rule would fit all gemhearts if true. That is just the general idea, and if someone else who knows more about crystal structures can reword my claim if it isn't clear, I would be much obliged. My other theory is how perfect gemhearts were made. There is a machine, don't remember what it was called it was referenced in Veritasium's video about the blue LED, that can use gas to manufacture crystals much faster than nature, and with less flaws. So, if the proper resources could be found, you can manufacture perfect gems. And as a side note, with a knowledge of how much Light can fit in a unit of gem, we can measure the amount of Investiture per cubic whatever of gem.

But you aren't able to tap a nicrosilmind because you aren't a Ferring, so where are you getting that power?

For Unkeyed metalminds, you blank the Identity keyed to the metalmind and anyone can use it. I see two workarounds, 1. Wax mentions something about most people having some Terris blood in them, so if you blank the Identity but leave in the Terris part of the Identity, I think it might work, but have no way to test it. 2. You do some weird Connection tricks, not sure what, but Connection is powerful. Small paradox: When our Era 2 gang used some medallions, they tapped an UNSEALED nicrosilmind to tap an UNKEYED ironmind...why couldn't they make the ironmind Unsealed and save the extra step? This could be a precaution to balance it, or do the Malwish not have the understanding or skill, and Unsealed nicrosilminds are just easier, while the Unsealed ironmind is harder and has more steps.

Hello all! I'm back! I've just been rereading my copy of SA and just now I read where Adolin summoned Maya a few heartbeats early. Then in RoW she seemed to be a little bit more alive, and now this thought came to me: If Adolin were to revive Maya enough could he A. Summon her instantly and maybe B. Become an Edgedancer For context, Maya is a Cultivationspren, like Wyndle who is Lift's spren. The surge of Abrasion would fit him well, as he uses Windstance, a more flowing form. I don't know if Adolin has acted in a way that fits these ideals, but there could be something?

Wax's daughter is named Tindwyl, a "traditional" name. Sazed had a crush on Tindwyl, maybe something happens to Wax's daughter and Sazed interveines, disrupting the precious balance. Just a random idea but still could happen

When Investiture is corrupted it turns red as far as I'm aware. As far as I'm aware, this includes Voidspren, whatever Sja-anat enlightens(?). What about Voidlight, Odium's colors are gold and white, and Trellium(TLM spoilers) I understand Odium having more corrupted investiture because he doesn't want to be chained down. But why does Trell/Autonomy/Bavadin/whatever avatar is doing this have corrupted Investiture?

From my understanding, if you forge iron to steel and store an attribute into it, you would store speed because that is what the metalmind is made of.

If my thinking is accurate could it be possible to fake a Connection to Preservation by 'Shaping your Spirit Web' Forging the Connection as your soul sees itself as Connected to Preservation. You basically write into it that you are Mistborn and have the proper Connection. Almost permanent, more powerful Forgery.

Note: This whole thing is a wild theory that may be inaccurate but you people will understand my curiosity. Spirit Webs. The contain your sDNA and are in the SR, when I picture one I see little orbs connected by lines and those patterns determine things like what invested art you can use and how powerful you are. Controversial but just to make sense of weird stuff. Connection could be in there too. If a person could see a Spirit Web (ex: a Coinshot) If they had enough Investiture could they alter their soul to be a Coinshot because they had a model to mimic. Sunlight man: Lerasium makes a person Mistborn. Enough Investiture can rewrite your soul. Any WoBs that are in any way supportive or shoot down my theory. I appreciate help on this question.
