Mark walks back to the room with the TV, immediately sighing when he sees the Greenspine now headed for Maj. "Of course. We can't give a tribute a single second to stop and breathe." Mist coalesces and fades at Mark's fingertips, something that he oft did unintentionally when angry.

The blade, in fact, is supernaturally heavy. (As in, over three tons.) One beam strikes him in the chest, blasting through his armor and throwing him to the ground. Several soldiers rally to defend him, and a few raise some pistol-like handheld crossbows and fire a small storm of darts up at Larry.

The commander gasps in pain from the knives, growling and coughing. He spins, launching the sword unnaturally far towards Nick, although not with much momentum.

The commander, in shock at the flying knives, backs away and one stabs him in the side, in a gap in his armor.

Mark looks at the floor. "I...I may have gone too far, that time." He sighs. "I don't mean to hurt her, but...." He shakes his head exasperatedly. "I can't be expected to put up with that for...Six years..."

Bird squawked in shock but, loyal as any Aviar, dove at the Greenspine's already injured eye while Maj ran across the beach, circling around the island (Not the whole thing obviously) Instead of going into the forest.

The fighting tactics mostly work, destroying any soldiers that are misfortunate enough to cross your path. Eventually, you get close to the commander, who turns towards you and roars in anger. He speaks, and SIMON quickly translates for the language is barely far from english. "Begone, demon! Return to the pits of Ellvirin, and take this keep with it!" He shouts, lifting a huge greatsword, one seemingly too big for someone to wield effectively. He, apparently, doesn't care about physics, and twirls it around him like it was nothing, creating a whirling circle of metal difficult to advance on.

"Asking me to make some kind of difference? You could find any number of people who didn't make a difference in the world, and you wouldn't be this horrible to them. I'm done with you blaming me for their death. It was long before I had even joined the Steeles, and, I would have you know that the things I did in life did make a difference, you Ruster. I killed the one person in the world who cared about me to save other people. Do you think that others would be able to do that? Even if they didn't know it was her, do you think others would be physically capable to kill her? Do not talk to me about making a difference, Mare. What difference have you make, huh? I'm the one who actually fought the peacekeeper army while you sat, playing around with your little feruchemy tricks. I'm the one who is struggling through having another person in my mind, yet still making more of a difference than you. Shut up! If you don't want me here, you could have stopped me from coming with you. I sure as hell don't want to be here if all I'm getting is undeserved hate!" Mark's eyes flash with anger. "Don't even think about talking to me about making a difference, before you consider what difference you've made. Don't even think about blaming me and hating me, then making up an excuse to hate me that could work on half of the world. I know that they won't come back, but that doesn't mean you have to blame me for it. People are going to die. That is how this Ruined world works. There are other options than wrongfully blaming someone for your parent's death. Because in all of your hate of me, have you actually listened to me? Have we not danced this dance a dozen times, of you blaming me for your parents death for no particular reason? Do you really even remember all of the times we've had this argument? Do you?" "Do you ever stop to listen, or to remember? Try thinking about those things. In fact, try thinking. I'm done with this rust. Shut up, and learn that there are people who are actually responsible for it!"

Mark splutters. "Are you in- What are you- Wh- You- AH! Stop blaming me for something I didn't do!"

"By the way, the roof might be missing. Not sure if Maj got to that before he got..." Mark sighs. "Whatever. Get out of here, Sweets."

"You're bad." "Go find Adris. He has a shack in the woods that would be perfect for you, I think."

“Bird! Distract it!” Bird flies away and flutters around the Greenspine’s head, trying to stay a bit away so the vines don’t obliterate him. Maj continues running.
