  1. The people are distracted? I guess? Mark takes in a breath of stormlight and slides towards the door to the mysterious shed, ending right before the door in a crouch. He listens for a moment in front of the door. Nothing inside, but they could very well just be being quiet. From a mental command, his Spren snakes under the door to check if anyone is inside. After a nod from his Spren that remains unnamed, he begun inspecting the lock. After a moment, he slid back to Mare. "Do you know how to pick locks? Without me using my Shardblade, because that's a bit noticeable?"
  2. HI LOTUS! @Lotus Blossom HI EDDIE! (I pinged you yesterday you get a break)
  3. The blade falls from Maj's hand. No. NO. Not like this, not even killed by another tribute but by this creature that those monsters created. "Damn you gamemakers. Damn you!" Maj roars. "Why do you do this? Why do you choose to wreck the lives of everyone you rule over? Why do you even want to rule over something if all you do is murder everyone who lives in your country?" Anger fills Maj's voice, and his hands clench in bloodied fists. "I will not die like this, you horrendous excuses for humans!" Maj screams, voice cracking. A solitary tear rolls down his cheek. His voice drops down to a whisper. "You create monsters to go into the arena, but everyone in your godforsaken country knows that you are the true monsters." Bird circles above, letting loose a glorious cry like a hawk. "Gamemakers, should you hear this, know that I DEFY YOU!" Maj takes a deep breath, crouching down a lifting his machete from where it had been knocked to the ground. "I do not get killed by your monstrosity. I am my own person and YOU DO NOT CONTROL ME!" Maj lifted the blade and drove it through his heart, ending his own life. "I defy you." He muttered weakly before he died.
  4. Maj jerks backwards, head reeling and white cracking across his vision. He stumbles backwards but manages to put his feet below himself. He lifts the bloodied machete in tired hands and goes into a weak attack stance, lunging towards the Greenspines' outstreched claw/foot/fin.
  5. @Edema Rue You have some game-losing to catch up on. Also @The Sibling You lost the game. If you ever go online again. Aaaaannnd @Lotus Blossom @BlueWildRye @SpiritOfWrath @Magi Also @Ancient Elantrian Because why not. Additionally, @Halcyon The Only @AltonicKeys Also @strmblsd because you've made me lose this game so many times.
  6. Huh. Apparently 7-10 hours of sleep is a normal amount. That's interesting. I need to sleep more.
  7. Maj growls, a feral look in his eyes as he recklessly stabs towards the oncoming claw.
  8. 1. There seems to be a pattern of people formatting their posts like this so why not. 2. @Ancient Elantrian If you need GMs who have time a lot I'm in 9th grade and it's really not that time-consuming, and I am doing like 0 extracurriculars so I would have time. 3. I didn't decide on a third thing to say when I wrote the 3. 4. I have no clue why I'm still writing numbers what is going on. 5. Seriously why did I type that 5? 6. Oh I typed the 5 because I didn't want it to end on a weird number like 4. Welp, can't end it on a 6! 7. I'm realizing that only 2 was relevant to read. 8. Is there any purpose to this? I suppose it might give me a bit of practice typing... As if I haven't typed enough... 10. There's no nine because seven ate nine. 11. yes the whole point of that was the joke 789.
  9. @BlueWildRye In a feeble attempt to survive, Maj lunges straight towards the Greenspine, swinging his machete wildly at the vines.
  10. JAMES quickly found that the password to the computer was 1234, and that he could access the map. It showed that the Teleporter was on the same floor that Tenth was about to search, and in the general center of the building.
  11. He finds that in front of the elevator there is a short description of what’s on each floor, and what access key is needed for each section. Most of the floors just say ‘offices’, but there is one floor right in the middle of the ones that don’t need any access key that takes the highest rank. There is no description of it.
  12. There is no map of the building clearly on the desk, although the computer may have something on it. "Well, presumably it would be in here somewhere, but I've not been inside here before, so I'm not sure where it would be."
  13. As the Greenspine leaps for him, Maj feints to the left for a moment before diving recklessly away to his left, trying to get into a defensive position behind a tree. He scrapes himself in several places in his leap, however.
  14. The interior is quiet, save for the echoing of your footsteps along empty halls. Fairly quickly, you can locate the elevators and the stairs, as well as the lobby that most likely should have had someone working at the desk, which had a computer, but no one was there. It was as if everyone who had worked there was gone, or at least, somewhere else. "We need to find some kind of map, to figure out where this thing is." Deven says, holding his Auton-Killer tightly.
  15. Maj looks at the eyes, particularly the injured one. A way... A chance... He lifts the machete high in his hand. "You think you're so powerful? Then how did a human manage to get those hits on you?" Maj shouts at the Greenspine.
  16. People give Sweets some odd looks. "Why're you here?" A few walk over, sighing something about meddling outsiders.
