  1. A portable speaker so that I can get everyone else hyped. You are on a deserted island. You may have one book, one movie, or one season of a TV series to entertain you while you wait for rescue. What do you pick?
  2. Yeah... it's how she writes her books. TPBM knows why June 6th is a significant date in history.
  3. I don't know where you are, but I will find you, and I will kill you. Jk tho The Wheel of Time is the most masterful series ever written and don't you dare try and diss my homeboys from the Two Rivers or make fun of the series. I love it and will defend it with my life. TPBM sobbed their eyes out when they read The Book Thief.
  4. Granted. Your bane is that you always put your clothes on either inside out or backwards, except on national holidays in Romania. On those days, it's both. I wish for a good haircut.
  5. Hm. Probably rock, although I have been listening to a lot of country recently. Are you listening to music right now? If so, what song?
  6. What is your favorite weather? Favorite season? Have you read the glorious masterpiece that is The Wheel of Time? How long is your to-be-read list? What is your favorite genre of music? What was your most-listened song on Spotify (if you use it) last year? Do you ever stare out the window without actually seeing what's outside while you listen to music and wonder about life? What is your most recently finished book?
  7. EMERGENCY SU!

Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie, a novella set in the world of The First Law trilogy, will adapted to the big screen by Tim Miller, with Rebecca Ferguson in talks to star.

I've wanted an adaption of The First Law for a long time, and even though Best Served Cold isn't one of the main books, I think it will be the best introduction to the series for people who haven't read the books. The First Law is great, and I am very excited for this movie.

    Spoiler

On another note, I've realized that Pat Rothfuss does for music what George R.R. Martin does for food. Martin describes food in a way that makes you want to taste it, and Rothfuss similarly describes music. Except, of course, you can't eat music.

  8. Here is the first of what will probably be a lot of maps. The scale is 1/2inch = 50 miles.
  9. I think his name is... Kar'alon. A human Circle of Stars druid.
  10. This is the most adorable D&D actual play show I have ever listened to.

  11. There's... a musical about Bonnie and Clyde? The 1930s crime couple?
  12. Nope. TPBM is only mildly excited by rolling a nat 20.
  13. Regularly? No. If I'm bored? Yes. Do you listen to/watch Critical Role?
  14. John Wick: Chapter 4 is great.

But it would have been even better if I'd seen the previous three.

  15. I haven't got super far thru, but I love it so far. Almost as much as I enjoy The Wheel of Time or The First Law.
  16. YKYASW you start reading The Name of the Wind and immediately think that the magic system is one that Sanderson would come up with.
  17. I don't really like cats, so no. Have you watched John Wick 4?
  18. I am not. Do you ever just start cackling like a villain and your mom turns to you and asks if you're okay?
  19. I had math finals today. Bleh.

At first, I thought I was going to do terribly since I don't test well, but I ended up getting an 80 before partial credit was added. I'll have to wait until later to see what the actual grade is. Prolly like an 84 or something. And that was the end of math for a while. In the fall, I'll be doing trig or calculus, but for the summer, the only things I have are my bass lessons and a physics class.

In July, we're going to go on a roadtrip to... somewhere. Idk, it hasn't been decided on yet. We went on one in '21 and it was awesome! So I'm hoping it'll be great.

    ALSO!!

I saw the Super Mario Bros. movie on Sunday and it's so good. Everyone should watch it. Especially with friends.

    Spoiler

IMO it's better than any Marvel movie that has come out since No Way Home

My week has been great so far. I have Bible study tonight, tomorrow night I have my weekly bass lesson, and I might go and see John Wick 4 in theaters with some friends. Or by myself. Who knows!

  20. I assume it's a YT channel. Have you read Berserk?
  21. Hey, I stabbed- I mean, spilled some water, can I have that? Sorry, we're closed. Come back at midnight, on Friday the 13th, during a full moon, after having got an AI to pass the Turing Test.
  22. Unfortunately, yes. TPBM is having cake for lunch.
