    On our date today, my gf and I decided to roll characters using the 5e Player's Handbook that the game cafe had.

    I present to you; Vidovrun of the Wald, the level 1 human paladin.

    Cool! What kind of character are you currently playing, if you're a player? If you're DMing, are you running a module or a homebrewed world?

    Often. TPBM can do more than 50 push-ups.

    Thanks. My problem is mostly verifying identities. I'll provide more details once I have my computer pulled up, but as of rn, they make absolutely no sense to me.

    The worst thing about leg day is the day after. SITTING DOWN IS PAINFUL AHHHH. I'm getting stronger tho, so it's fine.

    Oh btw The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is rly good. The graphics and combat are SUPER dated, but the story is fantastic. My favorite part about it is that the player character isn't the MC of the story. I've never seen that done before and I think it's really cool. The story is better than in Skyrim, but Skyrim is better in regards to graphics and mechanics, excluding magic. Oblivion has a thing where you can make your own spells and it's stupidly broken.

    But I do love a good story.

    Granted. They're now illegal. I wish for the ability to finish all of my book ideas.

    Nixon granted your wish a long time ago. I wish for a regular D&D group who's invested in my homebrew world and doesn't purposefully try to break the game. (Too much)

      I like that you said this, because (this is a bit of a tangent lol but hear me out) generally speaking, when things are implied rather than said outright, if it’s done right and makes sense and all that, it can actually be far more powerful than if you wrote it out and went into detail about it.

    So apparently my gf has NEVER played Exploding Kittens. Tonight, we were at my youth group's Superbowl watch party, and EK was one of the games they had out to play. I taught her how to play, and we had a lot of fun in the two rounds that we played before she had to leave.

    And we might go to one of the nice game cafes here in town on Saturday, so that'll be fun.

    How's everyone else's Superbowl Sunday been?

    Nope. In just the past two months I've spent almost 100 dollars on books. TPBM is trying to convince a friend to finish Stormlight.

    Granted. However, all fuel bursts into flames whenever it comes close to any form of air transport. I wish for good grades.

    There should be more subclasses like EK. It's one of the best-balanced things in 5e. Unless you multiclass. But then, all balance throws itself out of a tower when multiclassing comes into play.
