Yesterday I was watching Gravity Falls with my brother for the first time in a while, (I was close to getting tired of it, so I didn't watch it for a bit) and I was reminded of just all the things I love about the show. Obviously the characters and story, but there are just so many smaller parts that I didn't realize how much they impacted the show. Just little things like background characters still doing their specific gimmick. Also the humor. Some of the jokes never get old. EVER. Like the gag where Grenda summons the unicorns with her really deep voice. Gosh I love this show so much.

I found an article that talks about this, and it says something that parallels this. The right to pursue happiness is kind of the act of being happy. So essentially in the declaration of independence where it is used it means people have a right to find joy. I use joy here because I think it conveys what is meant by happiness better in this context.

*hugs* I've been having a similar thing happen recently. Almost exactly the same thing. It's really hard. I'm so sorry that you have to experience it too. Don't feel bad asking for help, you are absolutely worth way more than the extra bit of effort it takes to type this out. -
I absolutely love that idea! I wonder what entity's domain he'd be running...could it be one of the Watcher's domains? Cecil is always talking about how you need to talk to the cameras watching you. Or maybe he runs a Spiral domain... Idk. It's definitely worth some more theorizing

What exactly do you mean by "external definition"? I did consider that, and I think that things like theft or murder are ultimately corrosive to the spirit/mind. I think I would refine the definition to define it as the pursuit of things that fulfill a person's soul in a way I think that immoral acts would actively do the opposite.
