  1. DG Pic helped Aventine pick up Jar Man. "Why is he covered in blood?" "It's not his own blood," Aventine answered, avoiding the question. "That's not what I asked," DG Pic said. "I'm aware." She didn't want to relive it yet. DG Pic raised an eyebrow, but didn't continue the conversation. Clearly something happened, but it left a negative impact. I'll give it some time, then try to figure it out later. After a bit of walking and a change of guard, the two set him down. They had small talk until Jar Man woke up. @TheRavenHasLanded
  2. DG Pic was standing guard outside. Recognizing the two, he nodded them in. Aventine continued thinking about Amaryllis. The two had never been fond of each other, seeing as they were from rival houses, but she still wished she hadn't died.
  3. "Huh?" She hadn't realized she'd said anything, and thought she was only thinking.
  4. Aventine followed. She didn't realize she'd referred to the Mistborn by name, but she hadn't meant to.
  5. "Let's get out of here - Amaryllis was high nobility, once she's found, it'll be chaos."
  6. "You remember the way back to the compound, right?" She spoke with Jar Man, but her mind was elsewhere. Jar Man just killed Amaryllis - her doppelganger, anyway.
  7. "If there's not a ton, maybe you should drink it? I didn't get out a lot, but maybe I can navigate enough without it?"
  8. Aventine said nothing, but the look on her face showed how disgusted she thought this was. "The minimap's gone - do you have any more of that stuff?"
  9. "Ehr-" She fell down as Jar Man pulled away from her. She groaned hitting the floor, then stood up again. "I think we have bigger problems to worry about. We don't want to be around the corpse when it's found - which is who knows how soon. We need to get out of here - now."
  10. Aventine frowned. Her hand still covered her cut. This couldn't be her blood- She wanted to smack herself. There was a disemboweled corpse sitting a few feet away. Speaking of, maybe we should get out of here before anyone finds that. She wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders and took a couple steps. She almost fell. He was too heavy for her to carry, and the smell of drugs almost made her have a panic attack.
  11. "Jar Man!" she moved over to him, her hand still on her neck. With her other hand, she took his pulse and let out a sigh of relief. He's not dead, thank goodness. She looked at the Mistborn - she'd recognized her. She was nobility, just like Aventine. This Mistborn was from House Urbain, a political rival of House Erikell. He would've hired a Mistborn from a rival house. It'd make it far less likely to be traced to him.
  12. The Mistborn went limp, and Aventine stared in horror.
  13. Before he lunged, the Mistborn moved quickly to her left, JM's right.
  14. Fear flashed in the Mistborn's eyes for a moment, but it vanished quickly. She easily dodged his blows. Atium, Aventine thought. How could I forget about Mistborn and atium!
  15. Aventine held her hand over the cut in her neck, trying to help the blood clot. She felt inside and had just enough zinc to make one move. She Rioted Jar Man's passion and anger.
  16. He wasn't careful, however- the knife scraped across Aventine's neck and drew a line of blood. The Mistborn was pissed now.
  17. "Mind your own business," the Mistborn said. She Pushed on his belt buckle and sent him through the door.
  18. The Mistborn held the knife in place to Aventine's throat - if anything she pressed it in farther. She seemed to be trying to figure out what kind of metal he'd inhaled. The knife had hit Aventine's throat. A small speck of blood dripped on the glass blade.
  19. "This isn't your business," the assassin said, Soothing him. "Please, just let us handle the situation on our own." Aventine shook her head profusely.
  20. Aventine walked in and... well, did what she needed to do. She washed her hands and turned around- A mid-twenties woman in a mistcloak stood holding a glass knife to her throat. "It's been a couple weeks, sure, but I'm sure my employer would be happier with a late delivery than none." "JAR MAN HELP!" Aventine screamed @Cash67
  21. Streets of DG Luthadel "There's one here - can you wait outside?" Aventine walked into the bathroom. @TheRavenHasLanded
  22. "Mkay, um... This is going to take some getting used to..." "Let's, ah... go over this way." Aventine started walking @TheRavenHasLanded
