    Lily took the blue one and tried it. She got a really big smile on her face. Meron put the red one in his mouth. "Th-ank you..." he muttered. ~~ She looked away, eyes pooling too much. She went back to prying at the box.

    "M-m-m-meron," the boy said. "L-lily," the girl followed. ~~ Marewill's eyes started to water.

    She turned on her copper. "There." She fingered his scar and rubbed her thumb over it. "How did you get this one?"

    The five year old girl hid slightly behind the ten year old boy. "Hi," he muttered. She nodded.

    She put his nose and forehead on hers. "You're safe with me. If you don't want anyone else to know, we won't tell. Breathe when I breathe." She started taking deep, slow breaths.

    The woman and her two children came over. She didn't answer, but didn't look quite so worried. She paled, but said nothing.
