  1. “Fifteen wanted to play in one of the courtyards. He crashed a bike, which ended in a… a quite drastic accident. I’ve been seeing to him.”
  2. “That was part of it, definitely, but…” She sighed. “Knowing how those Games ended, how Kresh might’ve had a chance if I hadn’t…” She shook her head. “There were so many things to think about. My family were lucky. They were cared for. I’m sure others were worried out of their minds for their families. Then figuring out how you were going to survive… how to live with ourselves after what we did- what we chose to do…”
  3. The Avox found her and handed her the note. She read it and handed it back. To the doctor, she instructed, “Do what’s necessary to help. And don’t. Deny me clearance. Again.” She left before Fifteen could protest. Once in her office, she prepared the monitor that would allow her to speak to him. “You wanted to speak to me?”
  4. She sighed. “That’s an understatement, but… yes.”
  5. Meron smirked. His sister semi glared at Mark, but didn’t reenter the room.
  6. Oh! Alright then. And yeah! Which character(s) is your favorite?
  7. "... You can come in, you know. I mean, it's not my house, but..."
  8. "It's... You weren't one of the ones who did it. It's not personal."
  9. Meron looked down. He tried to get past Mark being with the group that had killed his father, but... well, it was hard ignoring it when he directly brought it up.
  10. "Yeah, he is. He's alone, so... I think he's safe for now."
  11. @The Stormfather @Lotus Blossom @J. Magi @Scars of Hathsin @WhyEverNot_8 @The Bookwyrm Meron sat on the couch, his sister's arm wrapped around him. She hadn't wanted to watch the Games. It brought back a lot of painful memories for her. He'd eventually convinced her to watch them with him, but she flinched a lot at some of the sights and sounds. He hadn't been super keen on watching the Games when they were first announced either. For one thing, they'd have to watch on a pirated signal, though that wasn't the main thing. The Games had almost stole his sister's life the last time. But the people in that arena were his age. He felt like he had to watch it for their sakes. When the cannon went off, Marewill stood and walked from the room. It reminded her of her own tribute kill of a boy named Kresh. She'd regretted it every day since.
  12. Parks and Rec is good, but there's some... jokes and scenes that I'd have your parents screen/approve (depending on how old/mature you are) before watching them. Plus I've heard the first season is horrible, but from second onward I really like it
  13. Small streams of water flowed from out of the jungle toward the ocean.
  14. She gingerly laid her arm over him, near silently grunting when it brushed against her funny. She fell asleep next to him once again.
  15. She smiled, closed her eyes, and sighed.
  16. "How do you know about... The- the people who bandaged it cleaned me before bandaging me."
  17. "My friend Elan- he put a healing salve on it. I don't know what-" She choked on the words. "What the people who bandaged me put on it."
  18. "No. They were just put on... maybe a couple hours ago."
  19. She chuckled, stopping abruptly in pain. Clever boy... "No. But the injuries have been cleaned, treated, and bandaged... not much more to do right now."
