She followed Vivens inside, however peeled off from the group early on. Whether doing so was wise, she was unsure.

She stopped and turned her head slightly.
“You’d think it would take less than five years to come here.”
”Five years is nothing to one who has lived a thousand.”
”Still impolite to keep someone waiting.”
Aerith turned more. “I wasn’t aware you were waiting.”
”How often did Rylan come here and you never once thought to do so.”
Well. That was a punch in the gut. And it angered her so much she switched back to Basic unwittingly. “The entire time I knew him, he told me to avoid this place! That it was too dangerous for someone as young as me!”
”You say that as though you think yourself a child still.”
Aerith paused, and Maz beckoned her. “Come. We have much to discuss.” She turned and started down a spiral staircase.
