Through the Living Hope

Let me preface by saying

Im fine, the problem is resolved

I was watching kids at church. My dad was at a baseball game and my mom was at work. I got a ride from a church mom home, she asked if I could bring my cat outside for her daughter to say hi to. No biggie, right? At least, that’s what I thought. 

Because it turned into a biggie. 

I took my cat outside in my arms and let them pet him a little bit, but he got a little restless, so I tried to get him inside. He slipped out of my arms in the driveway and ran into the backyard. I had to crawl over wood planks and bushes to get him out. He slipped out of my arms again and my ride helped pin him down. I just got him inside before he leapt out of my arms and ran somewhere else in the house. 

He clawed through a shirt from a concert and I got a few scratches on my collarbone and arm. 

But he’s inside and safe, and everything is okay now. Mostly I’m saying that in an attempt to console myself and stop crying. I was so scared of losing him.
