    Richard takes a step forward. the snow crunches beneath him. he moves deliberately. He is almost like a shadow, a ghost you see out of the corner of your eye, but when you look, its gone. he goes down into a gorge. he follows it, and follows it, and follows it until he sees two people in front of him.
