sOkay so I saw a post asking about how Shards can be slightly changed by perception of the vessel and it got me wondering, if Harmony is shattered do we think he'd brake up into Preservation and Ruin? The only other time that we see someone holding multiple shards shattered is Adonalsium, hat has some special circumstances but we do know from a WOB that its posible that they split into different intents. if that is true then to me it seems possible that depending on the perception of the vessel and the person shattering Harmony that its possible that he splits into different shards that could add up to harmony for example order and chaos, or creation and destruction. now the biggest issue here would be that Harmony would have to be Shattered with Dawn shards probably to achieve the same results as the origonal shattering of Adonalsium. Another potential issue with this thematically is that you could end up with 2 shards with very close intent like Creation and cultivation. let me know your guys thoughts on this particular mater!

Okay so I was thinking about how these metals would interact and i had a few things I couldn't quite decide on. so the basic idea is that both essentially give you super speed but in different ways, F-Steal by speeding you up and A-Bendalloy by slowing everyone else down. But what I couldn't decide on revolves around if a Slider was fighting a Steelrunner. Basically if they're both at a complete stand still and the Slider throws up a bubble. Can the Steelrunner then tap his speed to match the Slider? or is he also just stuck? essentially this has to do with the speed of investiture, how fast would it go from his bracer to actually Effecting his speed?

Being very busy with life unfortunately, I usually read what people are up to but rarely have the time or energy to form my own thoughts or opinions on stuff

I hadn’t checked with current characters when I started making mine probably should’ve done that ! I’ll probably change it up quite a bit then so it’s not just a copy and paste of an already existing character! Thanks for the heads up!!!

Okay I think I’ll go with the third spike interfering with the compounding. I feel it might just be too easy for him to discover compounding too quickly and at that point the character becomes a bit more powerful then anyone wants.

You think it would be possible for the 3rd failed spike to have messed with his spirit web enough to mess with compounding?

Shoot your totally right ! I forgot that compounding was a thing. I should probably fix that somehow cause that is quite a bit over powered. Though question in general- how does that kinda thing work? Cause the allyverse is kinda like outside of time kinda right? So do the rules of just whatever time they come from apply? We see inquisitors and Kelsier seeing the world in a kind of blue outline when they have spikes for eyes. But would a coin shot who's blind be able to see in the same way? or do they still just see blue lines pointing to things?

I was thinking maybe steal and gold spikes.

I’m trying to wright a character who is a coin shot and has two hemalugic spikes, but I’m unsure how to fit this into the merit system. Should I put coin shot as my major merit and the spikes as normal ones? Or should I just put all 3 as major merit? Or is this just not a possible combination?

if you wanna look through here there are some good points and opinions on how different metals would interact, as well as speculation on how shard plate can be broken I think.

Tress mentions death having nails through his eyes implying that they at least have rumors from Kandra or maybe other world hoppers that death has spikes for eyes. so it might to be to much of a stretch for people to realize something weird is going on with metal spikes and powerful people.

we also see a Kandra as a character in this book so we know they are on the planet!
