    every time i read the part where kiesha's like

    “I have nine siblings and two parents to feed on top of his bills!” Of course, her sister Hera did what she could, but with two sets of triplets, a toddler, and an older brother in critical condition to worry about, she had enough on her hands.

    i literally have to like do the math in my head 

    EVERY TIME

    even though i know i've done it before 

    and somehow i ended up getting eleven and then i was like

    "...............wait--"

    grrrrrrrrrr stupid decision why did i make her have nine siblings

    have you guys seen that one disney short that's like that homeless girl and she like hallucinates going to her grandma's house and at the end she dies?

    i'm working on my second kiesha draft rn, and i was describing those streetlamps that you have to light with a candle on a long stick, and that just popped into my head cuz i totally forgot about it

    but inspo definitely came from that little short

    isn't it so weird like how if you think about it, a lot of stories are just pieces of other stories put together with a few new, unique things? like kiesha's story is very les mis esque, with elements of that disney short i was talking about, plus her own thing with zack and her family

    but the vibes were pulled from songs i like and album covers and things

    like

    it's crazy that you can just look at something and be like "that tells a story, doesn't it" and you just like tuck it away for later and idk it's just rlly cool

      If it’s any consolation in the original story it isn’t a hallucination. She still dies though. I think

    It gnawed on his hand. I DID well the phase of it we were on I ONLY HAVE THE FINAL PAPER LEFT AND LOOK I DECORATED MY CAKE i’m pretty proud of it cuz it’s only like my third time ever decorating one
