    "Hey," Eddie says. "Lil. Look at me. What's happened here doesn't define you. What hasn't happened here doesn't either. You choose, Lil. You choose." Eddie rubs her temples. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to cause so much...trouble. If my dying wouldn't be such a problem, I'd just let it happen so you could all be free of this."

    Eddie laughs. “Slow down, Princess.” She suddenly feels the urge to cry, for a reason she doesn’t understand. She pushes it away.

    Eddie whimpers excitedly and starts dumping the marshmallows into her cup. Eddie narrows her eyes, then nods. “Just for you. No one else gets my marshmallows. No one.” She throws Lilyana the rest of the bag.

    Oooh that’s so fun!! I have 3 auditions this Friday, for the Crucible, All Shook Up, and Peter and the Starcatchers. I’m really hoping for a lead in the first, a funny part in the second, and just to get into the 3rd. (There are only 4 female roles in Peter and I’m sure there all going to the seniors, but that’s okay)

    Is he…watching me? Why did I let him get behind me? Stupid, stupid, if he has anything magic you’re dead. “Here,” she said, “you go first. I’m…honestly not even sure where we’re going.”

    Eddie nodded seriously. “I love them. Choosing the right boots is important.” Then she gestures for him to follow and starts walking out of the train car. “So…food.”
