None of the trees burn when you cut them, but all the plants burst into flame. The bottle puffs away into a burst of smoke. Siylna gives her a cold look. “Don’t forget who’s in charge, beast.”

Siylna laughed. “Weak?” She squirts Medea again.

Siylna squirts her with a bottle of holy water. "Behave," she says sharply, her smile spreading. "We wouldn't want anything bad to happen now, would we?"

"Mm...yes," Siylna said distastefully. "Burn. I keep track of the gambling halls you visit, my dear."

Rue eyed the hair, annoyed. "Yes, most of them are far more decent than our friend here."

Siylna cocks her head. "And perhaps you won't mind me telling them about the money you've been getting from me."

Siylna matches her smile. "Absolutely."

Who pointedly ignored her. "Storage rooms, probably, unless they're using it...but I doubt that they are."

Actually my biking gloves have fingers... xD These ones are cool because they're like...mittens without tops, so the thumb has half a finger, and the rest it just ends like as the fingers start? ...wow that was a horrible description.
