Tal held up his hands. “Woah, easy! I’m not…I’m just trying to make sure she’s okay!”

“I can make a gateway,” Rue offered.

Eddie sighed. “I don’t know, Lil. I’m not sure what else it could be.”

Eddie snorted. “I don’t know. I’m cold…and I can’t feel the fire. I just got it back, and now it’s gone…”

Rue snorted. “I don’t have a problem with corpses.” She threw a ball of fire at it then followed. “Don’t need one. Where are you trying to go?” Tal rolled his eyes and followed.

Eddie was sitting in the pile of ashes that had been a bed, trying desperately to conjure even the tiniest flame. Nothing. She put on her coat.

Tal followed her. “We’re here to help. What’s wrong?”

I saw this poem the other day:

When you're feeling the weight of it coming down on you, RUN to the Father who longs to be your comfort. Let him whisper your true identity over you while resting under the shadow of his wings. Position yourself against his heartbeat. Let him renew your strength and set your eyes forward. No olives, no oil. No grapes, no wine.
Your oil is not cheap my friend.
