    Rue opened her mouth to answer, then heard TAAron and turned. She cursed. If he dies again… “What’s wrong?”

    Sorry if I sound judgmental, I swear I don’t mean to. And I know it’s always easier said than done. I just struggle with this a lot, and sometimes it helps just to have someone on the outside to remind you it’s okay to screw up.

    I know. I’m the same way. It’s so easy to overthink and panic and spiral endlessly. Put in all the work you can, yes, but then if it doesn’t work out how you want it to, that’s okay. Let the logical part of your brain keep all the emotions in check.

    Rue shrugged coldly. A tiny piece of her wanted to believe him, wanted to just give in, but she was so tired. What was the point? “Believe as you wish, TAAron.”
