  1. I didn't even think about that we love the funky interactions in DND.
  2. Long story short, ranger with lightning arrow active in an enclosed space against a group with their healer incapacitated = bad. especially when they don't want to kill him so they have to kill the mind flayer to free him. a shockingly similar situation happened when we fought a beholder actually. real. I still don't think i've rolled higher than 12 on a dex check/save, I just always have good bonuses
  3. I got mind controlled and almost TPKed the party...
  4. ... Mind Flayers. I hate those things
  5. no, I'm not much of a writer
  6. ... with plenty of fire
  7. Just a deal I made with the General. Maybe this might help... Far away, the Ghanderflaffle Empire was beginning to fall. Fast.
  8. "Why would he owe Erif a meeting? Or the inspector? Erif didn't deal with the destroyer. Nothing against you Erif, but Onyx and others like him have done a lot of things to a lot of people. Involving yourself with someone doesn't mean you owe them favors. The people like him typically have... ambiguous morals." Well that's not good. "So do you know which Blades they are? Don't tell me what they are if you do, I don't want it uttered on the thread." "Somewhat. It seems my Author missed some clues, but a different Author clued him in. You might have already known it." [We probably ought to. But I did make a deal...] His voice dropped off and he Narrated his voice into TP's mind. I'll support you from afar, but I can't directly interfere.
  9. waltzes are fun to dance. NO! Some songs that could be waltzes that are in 3/4 are fun, but when you play the bass, most waltz songs are awful
  10. He quickly batted it aside with one of his Brightwields, then dove towards the inspector, flying down to meet up with that group. Oh great. If this keeps up, the destroyer will come back. "What duty? He is a Narrator. They don't have allegiance to anyone, and he owes you nothing. Why would you dealing with the consequences of your own actions earn an audience with him?" "Did he tell you what the Blades were called? Or anything else about them?" "You would probably know him as that." Zanitar blinked. "So did you know who he actually was?" Hacob was curious of this as well.
  11. "I seek council with you. I have weapons enough, though new ones never hurt. The Brave Adventurer speaks of Plotblades dangerous enough to tear the thread apart. He says the Great Wizard was a traitor to the Brave Adventurers, that he seeks the Plotblades for personal gain. The Brave Adventurer accused him of sending letters to you asking you to forge the Blades together. Did he? And is he intent on personal power?" "Uh... he talks. He looks like a normal squirrel. I think he accidentally got teleported to the Council of the Brave Adventurers, which is why I ask you. Also, did you know the former Brave Adventurer personally?"
  12. He pushed higher and higher, hoping to catch even a glimpse of the palace, or anywhere he might recognize from the last time a group was here. He kept a close eye on the inspector and the group with him. He didn't want them disappearing on him. He ignored the dream eater, letting it draw close. The destroyer isn't a servant of Onyx. He is from long ago... Whatever happened to Rym and Avatar? @The Bookwyrm
  13. I suppose I can find it in me to forgive you. almost dying is serious business and I skipped the puns. I didn't want to read that. Yes. I tire. But no one (NP) can know that. I must remain strong until the time comes. I must stop the End. Then, and only then, can I rest. As he opened his eyes, he rolled forward, standing up smoothly, Vengeance in hand. "Dreamsmith?" he asked cautiously. can confirm that Sequence is older than any of my characters Hacob's clone looked at him, ready to fight if necessary. "Have you seen a squirrel? I've been trying to find him, but I haven't seen him, and my Narration won't summon him for some reason or another. FYI, TP is at the sight of the original battle with the actual Hacob. I don't remember if there was anyone else there. Zanitar was, but he isn't there anymore.
  14. NEVER! I WILL NOT SHARE THE SECRETS I HOLD!
  15. Zanitar strained against invisible forces as he climbed, trying to catch sight of Onyx's palace. In this realm, he would be able to stop the destroyer. I mean... sometimes. Mine was literally Platypus
  16. Today, I got a sheep un-killed in DnD. I made a promise, and I intend to keep it

    1. Mags

      Mags

      bro's reverse Odysseus

  17. He quickly flew up out of range, then groaned. Now was a poor time for this.
  18. didn't. why did you need to grammar?
