  1. I'll PM you. Once Platypus is done with him, he won't be coming back
  2. we've arrived in all our glory Cin!
  3. Look, I'm working on how I want to say it! it is not what you think it is. Lets just say... Platypus isn't going to be a Narrator, but he will be alive. "Don't worry," he said, almost to himself. "I won't. The smartest people I've ever known have said it should work."
  4. "Yeah. It's weird being the old ones. Ya know, once I'm gone, you'll..." He shudders. "Oh, dear heavens, have mercy upon the thread. You'll be the oldest active Narrator. I'm afraid my plan can be accomplished by me and me alone. And now, I must ask you to leave my lair Subsy. Farewell, I'll see you from a different view when we next meet." @Thaidakar the Ghostblood, I just want you to know, you gave me the inspiration for this plan. It doesn't involve Ennullers like previously planned, but I think this will be just as good, if not better.
  5. "Well... Platypus can Narrate stuff back at me." Platypus cuts in, "Oh, don't worry about that. Each Platypus keeps their personality, but I won't be gone, so I'll still be able to annoy you, have no fear!"
  6. "I won't be a Narrator, but I'll be largely the same. We will still interact, probably in about the same way, but I'll be a little different. You'll see when it happens." Throughout all of this, Hacob has been sitting, shock growing on his face. Then he reached out an arm and a crate formed on Subversion's head. "I... I can Narrate!"
  7. "I'm afraid there won't be. But assuming that my plan is possible, we might still be able to fight." He says that, a small smile growing on his face. "Oh, I'd look forward to that." I have officially received word that my plan is, in fact, possible. Time for some fun.
  8. you're not in the same place as we are. "I... probably won't, but I will still be around. I think that you won't see what I'm doing coming."
  9. "Subsy, first off, how did you even see that. Second off, I'm not going to die, that's how I'm gonna break the cycle. Third off... I'm actually not sure where I was going with this, my brain just caught up with what you're saying. I'm your favorite person???"
  10. well, now that you've said that, I don't think it would work very well... but it would be funny. TLT probably wouldn't go into murder mystery mode though, unless... if we got people like Nameless and Thaidakar involved, and all of their characters, plus my characters all claimed to have killed him. then, maybe people would try to figure it out
  11. can inklings even have strokes?
  12. I'm not stupid. the first word was I, the next first was hate, and the last first was Platypus, but I don't hate platypus. And hacob isn't Platypus 2.0, Hacob is Platypus. There is a place I'm going with that idea, don't worry.
  13. sure or box if you're going with the trick question
  14. no, I always look there
  15. shush. let me read in peace
  16. or maybe... I think it was that I didn't know how to continue the conversation, then I forgot about it
  17. darn, i thought I was winning so I didn't check for whatever reason
  18. i too have my tickets. it will be an adventure. see ya'll there!
  19. “We are one and the same,” Platypus began. “You are me and I am you. I knew this was coming. I have arrived at the age, but this time, the cycle must be broken. But you don’t understand yet. Let us start at the beginning.” A blue energy came from Platypus’ head, forming a line between both of their heads, Connecting them. Platypus in a medieval kingdom, standing with another, who strangely looked… just like Hacob? “That was me.” Platypus’ disembodied voice echoed through the courtyard, though no one else seemed to hear it. “But I wasn’t the one you probably think. I looked just like you Hacob. It is our curse. You know how there is only one Immortal Platypus, and that it is me? That is caused by the curse.” The Platypus slowly faded from view. “The fading. I can feel it beginning to take me, but I think I’ll be able to stop it.” The one that looked like Hacob slowly changed and looked exactly like Platypus. “The transformation.” Platypus left the town, and as he left, the town was consumed in a fireball. “No one is ever left to testify of the transformation, only the Platypus.” The vision faded from their view. “You are becoming me. You have my Narration, though I can occasionally access it. Desolation doesn’t have any Narration from trying to take it from me, because it is yours. But I have felt myself changing, and not in the way the fading causes. You will eventually see. But I have a plan. And the cycle will end, you will be the last Platypus.”
