    Cacophony agreed with the first part, but strongly disagreed with the second. The case had been appealed, so it could not have a sentence yet.

    Hacob pointed out that he was not guilty yet, as he had yet to offer aid, just support, and there was no law against that anyway. He also pointed out that it could not be proved he had Narrated a Court, so he appealed it to the Court of the Mods, where it would probably never see the light of day. They had a lot of work on their plates. He also wanted payment from the General for defaming him.

    "Actually it's only been a few minutes," corrected Platypus, who had just appeared.

    yes. Mostly through hormones, but there is probably some other stuff.

    Yeah I am. See, no one calls me Cacophony, or Being of Cacophony, usually I'm Platypus, but he's a character here. Butt Venture is a being of chaos, not law! Violet was immediately impeached as a judge, and it came down to Cacophony and Nameless to decide.

    well, as this is not a battle, the General can lose, and Hacob is the apprentice of Platypus who is skilled in law.

    So they began the process of deciding who should win the case in the Author-only communication networks. Hacob's Author, the one known as Cacophony, presented a stellar case of the fact that the lawyer didn't ever point it out, in the original trial or the appeals. And Hacob's name was being defamed as they were intentionally calling him the wrong thing.

    it does have more to do with hormones, and also, hormone spread can be quite different within a gender. I'm sure there is more to it than this, but this is a part of it (the hormones, I'm not sure about the estrogen)

    wow, cheeseman has fancy answers. I was just gonna say that the hormones, like testosterone, are more present in guys and they cause more growth.

    genetics from parents, plus some sort of difference caused by different chromosomes I believe

    Luckily Hacob was a Narrator and the verdict was somehow in his favor. The Supreme Ghanderflaffle Court ruled in his favor, and no one really knew why.

    Fortunately the General still had a terrible lawyer who didn't point this out, so he won the case. The General was ordered to give him 15 Ghanderflaffle pancakes.

    Hacob counter-sued for defamation.

    Hacob was a little offended that they were unable to spell his name right, but he didn't show it. He did, however, lend his support to the Doug-waffle without anyone knowing about it.

    They realized that it wasn't actually Platypus' offer as they didn't reach out to him. It was Hacob's. No one knew which offer they'd go with.

    Platypus felt a little offended that they didn't reach out to him but understood. Hacob offered a plan that would allow 39% higher heights immediately, with possibly more time, with the price being credit for the parts of the empire past the ceiling of reality.

    Unless... Perhaps they could. A young leader, new to his office, began to plan. He started reaching out to Narrators for help changing the ceiling of reality.

    "Oh, it's possible. But it has yet to happen. I am everywhere, and everyone." - Inside the Ghanderflaffle empire, citizens began to riot.

    Suddenly, the Ghanderflaffles collapse and a figure steps up the stairs. "I never surrender. I never am defeated."
