  1. never mind, I did know this
  2. i'm not sure what that means
  3. i dont like paying attention to subtlety
  4. Platypus seemed to grow worried, but internally he was growing more confidant. He'd heard Nameless was incredible, but he didn't feel invincible. There was a way past his guard, he could feel it, he just didn't quite know how to access it. Vengeance's anti-glow increased as Platypus thought about how he had been wronged by Nameless and how badly he wanted to beat him. Fueled by instinct, he stopped attacking, knowing Nameless was relying on instinct, and that normal opponents would attack harder if they're opponent closed their eyes. After a half-second delay, he continued attacking, completely changing his style. His strikes hammered down hard and fast, each one a mace blow rather than sword strokes flowing together. so is this Nameless, or is it some sort of Narrative double? Cuz if it's Nameless, he can win, but if it's a narrative double, he probably wouldn't be able to work as effectively and Platypus would probably win.
  5. Platypus pressed forward with his attack, trying to find a way past the blade that was somehow always in the way. "Indeed. It is my belief that the wielder of any blade, but particularly Plotblades mold them to fit how they think it should be."
  6. there is no "not playing the game." If you exist, you're playing it
  7. worth it. 100% worth it. no regrets
  8. i lost when I saw that, so i had to make ya'll lose too!
  9. THE GAME!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  10. Platypus' grin faded away as he focused, then attacked, not using any powers of Luxsprites, just his own natural talent.
  11. "I think you're still Subversion, but I don't know about any oath, so you can use it," he says, grinning. Combat was life for Platypus. It was how he functioned. Unfortunately The Nearest Thing couldn't be knocked unconscious.
  12. The Second Nearest Thing thought about restraining him, but didn't, justifying it because it might be funny to watch the fight.
  13. It was quickly reassured that Abalodor did stuff like that a lot by the Second Nearest Thing. "Think would be the wrong word. I am a being of Ordered Light, so unless you know of any other beings of that type that aren't Luxsprites..." He let his sentence hang. "And she challenged me, not the other way around." Vengeance flashed next to the Luxblade and the air warped as their 'glows' met.
  14. alright, we know yesterday was your birthday
  15. my birthday was a long time ago.
  16. I realized that's who it was after i posted Platypus smile faded, he was a little less confidant. Then he noticed the glowing point and his confidence came back entirely. "Excellent. I've learned more since we last met, and I did want to finish this fight." Vengeance was removing light from the air slightly in his hand, the Luxblade was gleaming brilliantly, and Platypus flashed a grin. "Have at thee!" he cried, charging in.
  17. hey, I beat you to the punch
  18. it can grow in power as long as it ignores me
  19. I'm going to lose the game every time I come here...
