    Hacob poked his head through a rift in space. "Sorry, I still need to figure out exactly how to use this thing against Darkness." He waves a small remote. "See ya later!"

    Hacob popped in where Sequence and OA were. "Hey, I know the ally from several hundred pages ago had a little experience in making worlds. She worked with Onyx's assistant for a little. You could ask her or Onyx for help, although Onyx's Author is inactive right now." Then he poofed away.

    "Guided? You didn't guide me. You infiltrated my head at the last moment to justify coming here, and I'm here to undo that. Do your worst." Platypus flares up, light exploding from him like a star, pushing shadows back.

Vengeance passed through the areas all around Thaidakar's corpse, and suddenly a Luxblade in the form of a dagger shot out of Platypus' hand directly towards one eye while he swung Vengeance at the other.

    Without hesitation Platypus thrust Vengeance in the space between the two eyes. "I'm not, and will never be, your friend," he snarled. "Leave my real friend's corpse alone."

    Platypus seemed to thin, squeezing through the crack in the door, before reforming into his natural shape and summoning Vengeance.

    FYI he's not a Narrator right now, he's currently a Luxsprite, although he'll probably shift throughout the fight. Platypus slowly made his way up the mansion, mind searching for what exactly was wrong. Floor by floor, he tried to puzzle out exactly what Darkness had been doing, when he remembered something. That despicable, no good, son of a violinist. He's killing the Shadows, that's why they're going missing.

    Platypus looked around cautiously. There were likely looters after Thaid's death. Rond, for one, probably had access here. Heck, Platypus had access here before he killed Thaid. He walked up, and wiped a finger on the grandfather clock, coming off with a layer of dust on it. Then he walked up the stairs, hunting for Darkness while still questing out for Mythos (or any life, really) with his mind.
