  1. The bellhop nodded. “Alright then.” He led the man to the grand staircase in the main lobby. Once they were both on the staircase he clapped his hands twice and the stairs started to move upwards much like an escalator. However the only people the stairs seemed to move were them. In no time at all (or at least much less time than if they had climbed the stairs themselves) they reached the fifth floor. The bellhop led him down the first hallway and stopped six doors down. ”I believe this is your room sir.”
  2. The worker carried the platypus through the lobby, down the first hallway on the right all the way down to the last door. Through the door was the Olympic sized pool. The worker set down the platypus by the edge of the pool and sat down next to it. ”Here you go.”
  3. She grabs the resume and puts it in a folder. ”Well there’s some paperwork you’ll have to fill out first. Standard tax forms and a contract and such. As soon as that’s done and you’ve got an idea of what kinds of experiences or classes you want to lead we’ll get word out to the guests so that people can come to your classes and such. Just write down what you want to do on this paper.” She slides some papers and a key card across the desk. “You can take all that to your room to work on. Once you’re done call room service and they’ll tell you how to turn in the papers. And give you some further instructions. Any questions?”
  4. The worker moves to pick up the platypus. ”Perhaps you would like to visit the pool? You can swim there. Completely free of course. Especially for you.”
  5. “Before I take you all the way up to your room is there any luggage I should grab for you?”
  6. A bell hop steps out from behind the desk. “Perhaps I can help you. Follow me.”
  7. The woman flipped through a binder. “Let’s see then. I believe we have a few jobs open in like teaching sort of roles. We need people to lead/guide the experiences for guests. The last people… left. You’d probably end up staying here. Free of charge of course. And you’d have access to all the same things as the guests. For every class/experience you lead you would get paid. Does that seem like something you’re interested in?”
  8. The woman smiled. “Well that depends on what kind of job you’re looking to do.”
  9. "Perfect!" the worker typed the information and then handed Kjerled a key card. “ Our more pet friendly rooms are usually found on upper floors but really they could be anywhere. As the worker spoke a door open from the wall behind them. “Just step right through here. If you have any questions, concerns or needs call room service they’ll probably help you out!”
  10. A smiling hotel worker waved them over. “Welcome to Breakwater Suites! Would you like to check in?”
  11. The young man reached out and began to help her stand.
  12. "Alright. Do you want assistance standing?
  13. The worker looked a little confused. "Of course!" They handed him a key card and motioned to the open doors. "Head on in! If you have any questions, concerns, or needs call room service. They'll probably be able to help."
  14. "Well I can certainly help you with that!" She hands him a key card and motions to one of the already opened doors. "Right through there sir! If you have any questions, concerns, or needs call room service! They'll probably be able to help you." After walking through the door guest enter a grand lobby. The ceiling is glass and about 8 or so stories high. It's hard to tell. All along the way up are rooms with balconies overlooking the lobby. Two grand staircases grant access to the upper floors. The first floor seems to be a mess of doorways and hallways with the only indicator as to what they may lead to being small signs with numbers on them. "Sir. I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. Are you alright?" A worker squats down next to the platypus. "Hello little guy. What are you doing here?"
  15. "Perfect!" The worker handed her a key card and motioned to one of the two already open hidden doors. "Go ahead and just go through there! If you have any questions, concerns or needs call room service. They'll probably be able to help you out." The woman laughed. "Nope! I'm just have a pretty good day. And of course, positive attitudes tend to do really well in customer service jobs."
  16. "Well of course! Rooms for sleeping are of course private. Once claimed they'll only be unlocked with specific key cards just like at most other hotels. And some other rooms and experience can be reserved or only hold a few people." "Of course!" The young woman handed her a key card. She turned around and opened a hidden door behind her. "Go through here and you should have access to pretty much everything! If you have any questions concerns or needs call room service and they'll probably help you out. I hope you find who you're looking for and thoroughly enjoy your stay!"
  17. "Ah. Well if your brother and his fiancé enjoy adventurous experiences I would say this is a wonderful choice. But if you would like to explore further you will need to check in."
  18. He grabbed a room key from behind the desk and handed it to her. "Would you like me to help you find somewhere or go on your own?" "Welcome to Breakwater Suites! How may I help you?" A worker handed him a key and then opened a hidden door in the wall. "This way! I sincerely hope you enjoy your stay. If you have any questions, concerns, or needs feel free to call down to room service they'll probably be able to help you out!" "Welcome to Breakwater Suites! How may I help you?"
  19. His confusion quickly turned to concern. “Ma’am. Let’s find you a place to rest.”
  20. The young man looked at her slightly confused. “Nothing intentional I’m sure.”
