Sharp decided he was done with all this emotional uncertainty in the group. It was too complicated for him to follow. Letting go with one hand and reaching down, he grabbed spore boy and pulled him into the group hug.

Sharp wrapped his arms around both of them. He wasn't good with helping people sort out feelings, but he did know how to give good hugs. "Everything will be alright Dougella, I promise we'll make it out of this, but we need each other to do it."

Fun Friday night fact: (aka random JM thought #4)
My parent's both really like British authors, so I read a lot of British stuff growing up. Not to mention that I watched a lot of British shows/ You Tubers for the same reason.
And because of that.
I AUTOMATICALLY SPELL WORDS THE UK WAY.

He nodded, not really sure if he should say something. "A-anyway, were we going to get away from Roy?"

Surprised, he tried not to shift away at her touch. "I . . . I knew we couldn't both make it . . . so."

"Yeah, he was my cousin and we sort of grew up together." He stared at the ground, suppressing emotions he knew he couldn't deal with right now.

"I . . ." Kryn had been with him when they'd formed an alliance with Marewill, it seemed she hadn't noticed he was gone. He glanced at Dougella. He couldn't afford to get caught up with emotions now. "I'm fine."

He jumps out of the way, still maintaining his stance. Katana held up behind his head, he dashed in for another slice. This time he aimed for it's legs specifically.

Sharp glanced at him, "Well huh . . . if he's antagonizing you maybe we should get away from him--I don't want anyone else in our group to get hurt." He tried not to think about Krin. Only a few days in and he'd already lost someone close to him. It wouldn't happen again.

"Well that's good!" Sharp said, doing his best to seem friendly. "Who attacked you?"

"Oh . . . wow I'm sorry that must've been hard." He tried his best to sympathize. "Are you hurt?"

"Are . . . are you okay?" He wasn't sure it was his place to ask, but he felt bad ignoring it.

"I . . . did you want me to say more? I thought we'd try and call truce before introductions." He seemed genuinely confused at her annoyance. "We won't." Sharp said, coming closer. "We need to work together if we want to survive this."

"It's alright," He said, his voice lowered so just she could hear. "Just stay calm." "Right . . ." Sharp said glancing at Roy. "We were allies awhile ago . . . I understand things may have changed, but we wondered if we're still good?" After a minute he added, "Oh, and Dougella's nice, so you don't need to worry about her, I promise."

"I'm. Holding. My. Own." Kurtis painted as he slashed at stone limb after stone limb. A lot of the loose material on the beast had crumbled away, at this point, leaving the harder stone sections. A few crumbled away, but the better part remained solid.

"Hmm," Aki mumbles to himself. "Maybe we could eat both of them . . ." He nodded. He fell into a solid stance as the bear drew closer. With a deep breath, he tapped into his Ki reserve letting it flow through him and settle in his legs. Lighting fast, he ran at the bear while drawing his Katana. He slashed the creature as he passed it, skidding to a stop on it's other side.

Turns out that camping was just too much for my anxiety so I had to come home early. I knew it would be a challenge for me, and I thought I could push through but it didn't work out. No worries though, now that I'm home I feel a lot better.
It is kinda awkward though because I told everyone I was going to be gone but . . . oh well.

"Yeah, I suspected they wouldn't be far." He said, squinting through the darkness to see Tinker, Marewill and Roy on the horizon. "Hey!" Sharp called, when they were within earshot. "Remember me? Are we still allies?"

He continues to approach. He nodded. They were trying to find an animal to eat weren't they? It was a little big, but there's no reason it wouldn't be edible.
