The torces catch light quickly, you can see one wall is covered with strange markings with a hole punched through it. On the other side there is a stone door.

Does anyone want to light torches? You can barely see in the dim light.

You hear skittering in the walls and the click of a trapdoor being locked. Also you hear something heavy being moved on top of the trapdoor.

Okay, as you go down you see reflections off of the chitinous shell of something. Before you get a good look it ducks down and out through a hole in the wall. Once all of you are in the basement the trap door is slammed shut.
