I appreciate order, but the order implied by your name and the lack of order present in your non-Ookla'd name makes me feel divided. 4.999... repeating/10

"Let's get to testing, then. Let me find my notes." Antin left for about a minute, then returned. "A little singed, but alright."- 3518 replies

Tower of Ghenjei: An ICanon subplot
The Aspiring Archivist replied to The Aspiring Archivist's topic in Roleplaying
Penna frowned. So how did they... She decided not to think about it. I guess I'm walking back to the city. -

Penna watched curiously as the boxes fell, and was surprised to see that they were not obliterated on contact with the void. She walked to the box, and opened it, looking inside. -

Raising an eyebrow, Penna stepped through the gateway. "So, what is this? Why does your departure need witnessing?" -

"I shouldn't abandon the desk. Penna?" A woman appeared from a small break room beside the booth. "Would you mind going with this man? He's an otherworlder, I think, and he wants someone to... witness his departure." -

Rapidly, the man pulled out a metal rod and the end sparked. A gash was cut into Nameless' face. "You shouldn't do that to people. You're lucky I saw you with the general." -

That's it. The manipulator tied a final string, and a space in the wall next to him began to glow. TAAron felt like he was growing accustomed to the void. And it was maddening. Suddenly, he felt an odd sensation, but a gust of air from an opening door. He opened his eyes which he hadn't realized were closed, and saw a glowing rectangle floating near him. He began getting pulled towards it. It's like the glow in... in... The prison. I remember. Desperately TAAron tried to pull himself away, but to no avail. He began getting pulled through, quickly entering then exiting out the other side. He was in a room. Not blank like the last one had been, instead populated with a desk, some chairs, and some bookshelves. Bloodstains covered the desk, some looking fresh. Just as he entered, a door on the other side of the room closed. He sprinted at it, tearing it open. Behind it was a hallway. He barely caught a glimpse of a man carrying some sort of box rounding a corner ahead. TAAron picked up to a sprint, rounding the corner and slowly gaining on the man as they traveled through a maze of doors and hallways. Finally, he managed to reach him, attempting to grab hold. TAAron's hands went right through the man's back. The man began laughing. "Stupid kid. I was never even here." In a flash of the same white light, the apparition disappeared. And TAAron was trapped once again. @Ookla the Untitled@Ookla the BlowUpperOfStuff@Ookla the Obstinate -

I had the same question. Seems a bit strange to go on a dangerous mission and use coffins. -

I almost have him. The manipulator was frantically weaving strings in an attempt to reach the scholar with a physical connection. He held the metal shards in his hands, fresh blood pouring from his palms where they had been cut. TAAron awoke in the void. What happened? Did I fall into the barrier? Am I alive? The soul-pain struck him as it always did when he came to full consciousness. Ah, yes. I hope Haly and the others are alright. Now, where can I go from here? I should try to get to the Clinic... He would have jumped, if not for the absence of space around him. The Clinic? Where is that? How do I remember that?
