  1. Lerac nodded, and began trudging along with the group. "What exactly is the situation here?"
  2. "Her name is Wynn. I just got separated from her. And by the way, me being here means there's probably also an angry god around."
  3. He took the coat. "Fine. I need to find someone." He looked around, searching. "I'll come with you, I guess." "Name's Lerac." He reached to shake Klave's gloved hand.
  4. It was a tall boy, likely in his late teens or early 20s. He was tall, with neat brown hair and striking green eyes. He gasped. "Who are you?"
  5. TAAron reached and gripped Haly's hand, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
  6. Cufre rushed in as well. The group found themselves in a blizzard. The winds were incredible, the snow darkening the area and frequently blinding them. It was difficult to make out anything at all, except for a very faint silhouette of some sort of shed in the distance.
  7. TAAron had grown tense. That doesn't sound good.
  8. "No location? Is that normal?" Wynn arrived in the midst of a blizzard. The winds were incredible, the snow darkening the area and frequently blinding her. Lerac was nowhere to be seen, likely hidden somewhere in the storm, or worse, under the snow.
  9. As soon as it did, the path began stitching back together, on pace to be sealed in mere seconds.
  10. He frowned. "No, I don't think so. Haly?"
  11. "So you could tell us if our friend is okay? Her name is Wynn." Lerac finished passing through, and the window disappeared in an instant. He was gone.
  12. He shook hers jovially. "Nice to meet you too! Who are you exactly?"
  13. "Where do you think she went? I hope she's okay...'
  14. "Ashli and I discovered that the Nolikans were using some sort of talisman to help with combat. I stole it, and gave it to her. Hopefully it can be used as an advantage against them now." He smiled back at her, looking satisfied. "So what do we do now?" A glowing rectangle of light became visible, as did Lerac's silhouette against it. As she watched, he began to pass through it.
  15. He placed a hand on hers, as though in comfort. It was solid, but the layer of frost made it almost unbearably cold. Then, in a flash of light, he was gone.
  16. His face lit up. "Great! That's great! And the mission went great, too. That thing you sent helped, actually."
  17. He nodded, smiling back. His demeanor saddened slightly as he asked his next question. "So... how goes it with all the political stuff?" Lerac was about to respond when a wave of force tore him away. The rope went taught again.
  18. "Minutes? I can't---" Lerac began to slip again. "Uh oh."
  19. Almost certainly Malum. "I don't know, I'm getting pulled off!" Lerac was still trying to hold on, but he was running out of strength. "Let's just get the Stacis and get out!"
  20. Lerac clung on as he last of his health gave out. Immediately, his arms began to ache and his hands to burn. The explosions made it impossible to focus. Hang on indeed.
  21. He did not respond, or even nod or shake his head. He simply drew a little closer, and sat down next to her.
