Vena started toward Eddie. I have to help! Arbiter stopped her.

She ran past Vena, whose expression had changed to concern. Vena went pale.

Vena stood by. She began to recognize that some part of her, despite knowing it to be forbidden to her, desperately wanted to help the girl. She shoved it down. @The Bookwyrm

Vena walked after it and Eddie, an undiscernible expression on her face.

Vena stepped back. "There are still limits on what I can do to help you. I don't think I'll be able to aid you directly here."

Vena stopped. "Looks like you have something to kill, then."

For a moment, a hazy outline of Vena appeared in the train next to Lilyana and Aster. "Eddie is safe, but... she wants to be away for a little while." @The Wandering Wizard @Aeoryi

"Well, if you're staying out here for a while, I will have to stay with you."

"Okay. But you'll have to deal with them eventually." Vena looked strange, standing in the cold with only a dress, yet completely unaffected by the chill. "We should go back to the train. It's dangerous out here. I know you can probably handle yourself, but I still don't think it's worth the risk."

"Do you... need to talk?"

Vena shot to her feet. "Actually, looks like I've got to go for now." She disappeared... ...reappearing outside of the train next to where Eddie had landed. "What are you doing?"
