    She was thoroughly scratched and bruised, but didn't seem to be seriously hurt.

    Suddenly, there was a flash of energy, and Rallohir and Vena were sent flying in opposite directions. Vena lost consciousness, and she landed very badly, skidding across the ground.

    "What is it you're suggesting?"

    "My powers aren't light-based. That's just kind of how they manifest."

    "...Which devices?"

    "It's not really a problem. I'm just trying to use my powers to make a communication device."

    Just as he was recovering, she was already lunging at him, and threw him down by the legs as he had at the start.

    Vena managed to pull away, then attempted to use the technique on him. It was poorly executed, but she still got him onto the ground and held him down with unusual force.

    "I doubt it. It's a very particular thing."

    Vena yelped, but quickly sprang to her feet, then more or less picked him up and threw him down herself. She had no form whatsoever, but she clearly had an unreasonable amount of raw strength.

    "I think so..." She mimicked his stance decently.

    She laughed. "Wrestling? I can't say I have much experience with that... but it could be fun."

    "Yep!" Vena seemed like she was having a lot of fun. "Strength next?"

    "Uh, no. There should be some in a drawer in your room."

    "Well, yeah. I've had it plenty of times."

    When they stopped, she wasn't even remotely out of breath.

    He paused. "I guess I couldn't really tell you. Probably some magical source."

    "Not on me, but I could get some from the food line."

    "Sure. How should we test those?"

    "I can promise you it won't be here." "Well... welcome to the Clinic. Seems like you'll do just fine here." He smiled slightly.

    "There... isn't anyone?" He nodded. "Sounds like a good idea to me." TAAron now just looked bemused. "I was just greeting you."
