  1. He remained unconscious. There was no light or any indication of why. He was just... asleep.
  2. TAAron nodded. "Okay, I hope it..." The light around him, which had still been rising for the minutes since he used the Oath Rod, faded. He collapsed. @Edema Rue
  3. "You could certainly try that. Honestly, I probably won't be of much help with figuring this out. My magic will generally stay like it is, or just stop functioning entirely if you completely disrupt it. It's pretty simple, in that regard."
  4. "Interesting. The material might revert itself, then, though Stacis crystal tends to be difficult to manipulate in such a way. Maybe you could transfer the weaves somehow?" "I didn't specifically make it able to do anything. That would have taken a lot more time and effort. I just used the Rod as a medium to guide my own magic. It should be able to do the same that yours does."
  5. "Maybe... Though that might remove my oaths. And it is now made of a different material, and operated in a different way. It may just not work at all if you remove my magic."
  6. "I disrupted and modified the medium that those weaves use. So I may have indirectly expelled them."
  7. "You just... use it. Like I said, it takes time, focus and effort. But anyone should be able to use it." "I'm sorry," he said genuinely. "You could try, but it might not work immediately."
  8. "It might be more difficult to use than normal. Rue had some trouble using my communication spheres, and they are way less powerful."
  9. "Actually, the shortening of the life span might not even be a problem anymore. But also... how would you use it?"
  10. TAAron read it. "What oath would you want to take? Remember, they are quite dangerous."
  11. TAAron took it, and closed his eyes. White light rose from his body. He stayed like that, still, for a few minutes. Then he opened his eyes and smiled. "I'm almost positive that it still works. I don't know how we should test it, though."
  12. "You tried to stop me because it could potentially shorten my lifespan. And the Oath Rod might still work! I can't really check, though, because Rue threw it through a gateway."
  13. YKYASFW you freak out over seeing a person reading Oathbringer in your school library.
  14. TAAron looked thoughtful. "Actually, that could make sense. My magic might not have broken the Rod, it just might have modified it to use my magic." @Edema Rue
  15. "But you didn't notice. Or care."
