  1. "I didn't barge into your camp, and I'll do what I need to do if it means avoiding getting captured by people whose first reaction to an unknown person tend to be 'fight and kill.'"
  2. "Please leave me alone." His voice was quiet, but not at all warm.
  3. His eyes snapped to Aaron, who felt a sudden rush of terror and dread, interrupting his concentration.
  4. He just looked at her, seeming tired. @Lunamor
  5. "If I were a spy, wouldn't it be very easy for me to come up with a lie to placate you?"
  6. "Why would I trust you with that?"
  7. "For personal reasons."
  8. He frowned for a moment, then sighed. "I'm sorry that you were frightened. But I'm not here to hurt anyone."
  9. "It's not my fault you saw me. You shouldn't have, but sometimes people do out if plain luck."
  10. "You don't have a good reason to attack me. It's not my fault you got frightened. I didn't want to be seen at all."
  11. "Can you two call off your friend, please?" @Lunamor @Weaver of Lights

  14. "I don't owe you an answer."
  15. "And I don't trust any of you. But I haven't overtly threatened your life yet, so maybe cool off a little."
  16. "I'm not going to hurt you." He met Edgar's eyes, who felt a rush of cold terror. "Put those away."
  17. "It doesn't really matter."
  18. "I wanted to come."
  19. "I'm not going to do anything to her," he muttered. He just looked at her, expression difficult to read.
  20. As he stood and somewhat reluctantly lowered his hood to reveal messy brown hair, she and Ed found it difficult to shake a nagging dread about him. He didn't answer, avoiding their eyes.
  21. Terrance groaned softly, and rose from his crouch. "Just... another half-blood."
  22. The figure did nothing.
  23. When she looked at him, he immediately jumped, then cursed softly. He wore a dark cloak with a hood pulled well over his head, like he was trying to hide. His bright blue eyes made contact with hers from beneath it.
