Pic led Vyla over to a cot here in the medical wing and motioned for her to sit on it. "I don't know much to help people calm down, but if you think it will help, I can play a song that could help you relax?"

Pic looks at him and smiles sadly. "Let's hope we don't have to count then. If we do need your medicine, I will let you know."

"Yeah I did. I don't really know how I got to the door, but I do know my music led me here. The tones that this place radiates from afar are chaotic, but coherent." Pic looked at the wall, kept his sword at the ready, and turned to Vyla. "Alright, let's get you comfortable. You just went through a lot and I think it'd be best if you took some deep breaths and processed for a little bit" @Violet Pic held out his hand to help Vyla up.

"You did try before! You did really good keeping water down earlier today." Pic turned to the healer @InfiniteInsanity "Also, your name was Ash, right? How do I get a hold of Emma and Calano? I think I might have seen Emma before, but other than the doorman, you're the first staff I've seen since I've gotten here."

Pic summons his sword hilt again by singing the following in a quick, descending chromatic scale, then looping his five lines. "And that's why we aren't using your methods right now." "This is my first time interacting with him too. I don't have any more information than you. I don't want to lose contact with the one healer I've met. How do I contact you if things go south?"

"Look, what you did may work for you, but we don't know if it's the best thing for Vy. Hold off on it for now."

“Yeah, how about no.” Pic said, placing himself between Jar Man and the healer.

“You may not remember this, but you drank a whole half cup of water before, and you were great! It’d be good to try it again.”

Pic shrugged and shook his head.

She did drink before, but it comes and goes. I'd bet a lot that she's seriously dehydrated, even if she doesn't look like it.

Well she forgot that we just delved into her mind and that's probably what caused the headache. Pic sat down next to Vyla. Not too close, to give her space, but close enough that if something happened he could react.

It's hard to get her to drink it. She's vomited a couple of times on attempt. She's getting better though. Kept down half a cup a few hours ago.

Pic tried thinking his response back She can't remember a name for more than a few hours.... and she's scared of water.

Pic walked up to the medic, nearly tripping on his way over due to the mind bending escapade he went on. He whispered into the medic's ear, "Her brain seems to not be registering her memories? I don't know exactly what is going on, but talk to the crystal Aetherbound man. He seems to understand more than all of us, including her." @Aetherbound

Pic looked sympathetically at Vyla, not sure what exactly to do. He settled for muttering a curse underneath his breath to himself. "Finally, we have a real medic here! Better an octave off than never playing I suppose."

Pic's cylinder appears around Vyla as soon as he was ejected from her mind. Pic came to in the wing, and quickly halted the music.

Pic looks panicked, and quickly draws his five lines in the air. He hesitated for a brief second, then his face went perfectly determined. He began singing the song that Vy had sung to him in the medical wing last time. Pic thought hard about that image that almost came up, and poured everything he had into singing the song. Majestic chords, dramatic harmonies, and deep percussion filled the space in Vyla's head. Pic drew another five lines, for a total of ten, and layered them in a large cylinder around himself. The instant the cylinder was completed, the resounding music shook the water, causing a single wave to expand in a perfect circle. The flower and its pot float to the epicenter of this wave, in the focus of the music. Pic was now visibly strained, but came out of his music trance. The cylinder spun, keeping the melody going.

Alright I promised y'all an update on the conference after I got home
I had a BLAST! We got the ring of fire for the annular eclipse, which was so cool. Other than that, I just got to hang out with science people all weekend. It was really fun!

Pic starts shivering due to the water seeping away his body heat. "Well whatever we need to do we need to do it quickly. I don't think we can be in here for much longer."

In the hospital, Pic gets sucked into a trance similar to Aetherbound and Vyla. He pops into existence with Aetherbound. "Well this is new...." "No I don't.... Why is there nothing here? I'd expect her mind to be a little more chaotic."
