Interesting. However, there are not enough words for it to be called a true novel, so I shall have to simply call it a fragment of a sentence. MetalStraw/Goldfish
She hesitated. "I... I have to. It'll only be an hour at most, and Mitis is here if you need anything..." she glanced at where a Mitis was sprawled across one of the beds. "Well, sort of."
"Same to you." He surveyed TAAron critically. "You should be okay now, but you ought to rest for the night. C'mon, Haly, we should get changed."
She nodded and rose.
"I'm not misguided," she insisted hotly. "You're misguided. I know you're great. Remember giving me Lerasium? Remember trying to keep me out of the tower because you didn't want me dead? Remember coming to find a sequin with me?"
Cjehu was greatly amused.
She nodded, almost glowing. "Yep! Pretty sure."

"He... he thought I was dead." She choked on the words.
"But why..." understanding dawned on his face and Cjehu looked between them. "Hang on, are you dating my sister?"
Siblings certainly do have a unique relationship. For the longest time me and my brother did nothing but argue, but in recent years it's gotten a lot better.
Very few people can understand my brothers when they talk, but I doubt they'd say anything like that anyway. All three of them are stuck in the "no such thing as an indoor voice" phase. I'm a terrible big sister. Left the littlest one in the car for an hour by accident today.
