  3. Clinic: Lobby Haly and the others whirled into existence in the lobby. She smiled brightly at Calano. "Hi! Great to see you again! How have things been here?" Mitis (blonde, green eyes, Earth style clothes) smiled and waved.
  4. Welp… I’m banned from the shard for an indefinite amount of time. Tomorrow’s my last night. It’s something about getting real friends (but the people around me are boring or moral-less) so yeah see y’all when I leave the house.

I’ll just go cry now. See you tomorrow.

  5. “Smart idea.”
  6. “It wasn’t until it scarred up.”
  7. She grinned and pushed up her sleeve. A scar ran from her elbow up to her back, where the sleeve obscured the rest. “It slants halfway down my back too. I’m proud of it.”
  8. “He was the last person I killed. Made good money for that. He was a crime lord, with members all over the country. One tenth of thieves and evildoers were in his pay. He was well guarded—I was so proud of myself. I even got a scar out of it!”
  9. She glared. “That’s not very nice. Can I have it back first?”
  10. Ah, he’s fine. Just got a little chronic insanity. Nothing to worry about.
  11. He cuddled them as if he would never see them again.
  12. “Of course. Consider your skills complimented.”
  13. “Well, I could leave the mystique and call it magic, or I could compliment your skills and call it sleight of hand.”
  14. “I forgot the point of the conversation.” “Is that actual magic? Or sleight of hand?”
  15. “No,” she agreed. “No, it’s not.”
  16. “That’s also true. But hey, you can juggle and turn into a penguin, which both are pretty awesome things.”
  17. “Oh, that’s true. That would prove a problem.” She tapped her flute against her leg, percussion joining into the melody.
  18. She rolled her eyes. “You’d do it too.” She snickered. “So normal. SO normal I can’t even imagine not killing people for a living.”
  19. “I like to think I’m not, though that probably isn’t true.”
  20. “How about ‘normal’ then?” “That’s a start—the song isn’t super selective.”
  21. “Possibly. Do you know of any lore or whatever?” “Now, that’s not very nice.” She chided. “Though it’s a good thing you can aim right.”
  22. I likes grapes and raisins! I also likes blueberries and bananas and apples and cherries.
  23. “I don’t know. You just are.” She nodded. “I always thought so too… there are stories. Lots of them. Nobody knows which are true and which myth. It’s… odd.”
  24. “Yep.” “They say the Haunts are the source. I heard it once, too, just before… something bad.”
