  1. She stared at the paper, then turned away. "I don't want to forget you." It took her a minute to realize that the soft words had come out of her mouth. She dug her fingernails into her palms, eyes filling up with tears again. Stop it! Just stop! What is WRONG with you lately?
  2. No, she wrote automatically. Then she realized she actually kind of did. Oh well. It was too late now.
  3. I'm She scratched that out and wrote no instead.
  4. She thought you were a gangsta
  5. She glanced at it, paused, considered, changed her mind, changed her mind again, and made herself write. Sorry. It's been a weird week. How are you? Wow, what an idiot question. They were in a prison. Without a Narrator. They were completely at the mercy of these people, and she asked him how he was? She choked back a laugh at her own absurdity.
  6. I'm sorry, but.........

Owl City is a vibe. And I probably sound like a child, but I'm telling you, his music has this beauty to it, like a mystical quality. It's the kind that comes with feeling so close to being in it or understanding it, but in the end, it's just a fleeting moment in time that doesn't truly belong to you. But it does, somehow.

Anyway yeah that's my daily idiot SU

      Through The Living Glass

      YOU'RE NOT AN IDIOT!!

I don't actively listen to Owl City myself, but a lot of my friends do.

There's no shame in thinking something is beautiful.

there are a lot of his songs that i don’t love, but something about that one about the circus is just perfect

      The Wandering Wizard

It's really good, Ranyu introduced me to his music :)

  7. Beosta finally got a grip, but kept staring down at her hands. There wasn't much else she could do anyway. She was gonna fail. Well, Livetha would fail, and... and then she'd have to go back. But she didn't want to forget any of this! She didn't want to forget the fighting, or the bunnies, or Bacon or Yrank... or Shoe. Him especially. Was this what it felt like to have a friend? Was this what it felt like to lose a friend?
  8. sweet. Beosta would have shoved him away, but she was too busy trying to stop the tears. Stupid leaky faces.Stupid school. Stupid Beosta. Stupid, stupid Beosta.
  9. If he is an Ennuller, does what happened work if I change his speech? She hastily wiped a tear out of her eye. Nothing. My mentor wanted to talk. Livetha's normal again. Her thoughts were too scattered and frantic to be much more coherent than that.
  10. Is that like he can undo Narration? I was thinking he'd be a Narrator but an Ennuller would make more sense
  11. she was gone for a sec; this is what happened Beosta gasped. She was outside the building now, but nobody looked her way. What had happened? What about Shoe? Turning, she almost ran into Roth. It took her a second to comprehend the sight of her tall, grizzled mentor, or to realize that her voice was back again. “What’s–” You're cheating, he told her. I recommend you get your act together if you don’t want to go right back where we found you. Her breath caught. “Ch- cheating? We’re not–” Lights Over the Harbor cannot be a Narrator. That ruins the whole point of your CD assignment. He eyed her. We have not failed to graduate a single student in nineteen years. But you make me wonder, Between Two Stars, if we’ll make it to twenty. If you don’t want to go back to your nepotistic indentured servitude, I’d recommend you get it together. Roth snapped his fingers. Lights Over the Harbor is no longer a Narrator, and your voice is yours to keep. I’d recommend you find your stoat before the housekeepers do. She’s in the second floor pantry. Beosta appeared back in the cell, plopped down on the bench, and buried her face in her hands.
  12. Before she could sit next to him, however, she vanished through no fault of her own. I'll write out the interaction but it might be fun for him to react
  13. She couldn't help laughing, even though it was a very legitimate musing. Maybe they have some kind of magic or something.
  14. To do something heroic. The councilman narrowed his eyes at her. “Something heroic,” he echoed. “Very well. I’ve just the thing. Take them back to the cell— temporarily,” he told them quickly. “Just until we can make the necessary arrangements. A servant will be by to collect a description of this missing stoat, and we shall find it as well.” Beosta was cool with that.
  15. The council whispered amongst themselves, then handed Shoe a piece of paper and a pencil. “This might be easier. What are your intentions here?”
  16. “Her house is in 9&!shf town.”
  17. “Do you know where Becky is? I got lost…”
  18. She blinked at him blankly. “Do you mean us harm?”
  19. He finished his crying, sniffled, and dried his face. He beamed at Maglor and Purple. “Thank you!”
  20. Beosta sighed, then sat. “We have some questions. Answer only by nodding or shaking your heads. Are you from here?” Beosta was too busy thinking about the best way to escape to pay them much heed.
  21. Bad stared at the flower for many many seconds before he started bawling in relief. He took the flower, managing thank-you after thank-you through his tears.
  22. They startled. A man with a long gray beard motioned the guard to sit on the couch as well. He must be one of them, not just a guard, Beosta thought. It’s some kind of council. “Sit,” the bearded man boomed. Beosta narrowed her eyes at him.
  23. The guard, clearly nervous, led them to a room with two plushy armchairs set up across from a large, long couch on which four people sat. They all drew weapons upon seeing them enter, and one gasped and murmured something that could have been a prayer.
  24. “But he SAID it was the ONLY ONE!”
