    “I’m okay,” she promised. She squeezed his hand, then spoke quietly. “He tried to warn me… so many times. But I just thought he was jealous.”

    The streets were mostly empty, strangely enough. The dark sky spread out stars as far as the eye could see— bright stars, not only silver but other colors as well. Beosta’s stepped up to the whitewashed porch with several hanging pots of flowers, then hesitated.

    “About ten miles,” she said. “It’s a little storefront in the city. Yellow, with flowers.”

    “Yes! Please.” The spirits floated closer. Beosta’s was used to them by now.

    “I’m the only current copy,” she replied, confused. “I’m the original.” “Yes! Yes. Let’s do that. Where’d Tam go?”

    Beosta introduced herself absently. She frowned. “Who?” Beosta agreed.

    Beats Studio. I think I’ll just get AirPods though.

    One pair is perfect. I might return the other one and get more expensive ones.

    “Sure!” Gaioh said. Lady Bug smiled. They were on the balcony of a sort of castle, and the air was full of confetti and balloons and streamers all moving in slow motion. “You’re right on time! —Mutual friend?” Still red, she took his hand and stood up. “I’m Beosta, and this is Shoe. Nice to meet you.” @Ookla the Inquisitive

    “We’re just here. Home base, kind of.” Gaioh shrugged. “I think we’re gonna check on Beosta’s siblings eventually. You said you’re lost?” If you wanna do something, Lady Bug informed him, then come to my party!

    “I’m Bat,” Bat said. “Where are you from?” Gaioh asked.

    Bat smiled timidly and Gaioh smiled broadly and reached out his hand. “I’m Gaioh. Nice to meet you.”

    He was teleported to the edge of a jungle, right before the beach started. Several people were out on the sand (Shoe, Beosta, Gaioh, and Bat).

    “Your sneeze was cuter than my hiccup,” she muttered, blushing even worse.

    Heh thanks I’m working on the last scene second to last kinda bit technically last so She blushed. “I don’t know what you’re taking about.”

    She laugh-hiccuped. "Thanks, Shoe. Thank you. You're the amazing one, you know."

    She nodded, swallowing the lump in her throat. "Thank you."

    *cries* *hugs Mother even more with popcorn* NO. MY POPCORN

    "Promise," she demanded, suddenly desperate. "Promise he did."

    *hugs* Can I have popcorn, mom?

    "Shoe..." Tears came to her eyes. "Did he ever care about me?"

    Granted. It's the format you most dislike. I wish for the stars to be birds.
