    Neither of them knew what to say to that. For a long moment, they were silent. Thank you for saving her, Nethek thought quietly to Shoe. (Prose is hard ok) Bat pet his bird. Bat pet his bird. Augh what is happening with my internet She shrugged. “I’m a Narrator! I’m supposed to find people! And, uh… yeah, we’re in a desert. Would you rather a jungle?” She clapped her hands and they were in a jungle.

    He… why were you with him? There was no reply. Lady Bug appeared, though. “I sensed distress. What’s up?”

    Nethek sat heavily in the armchair. That’s… heh, not like I had hope for him anyway… His eyes were sad, though. How did he die? The astonishment of the townsfolks’ faces blurred and melted, leaving Silas in a desert rather than the town. One single sentence burned on the sand beneath him. Get off my world.

    Gravity Falls is a lot lot lot better than I thought it would be.

    The way Bill uses past episode resolutions as leverage to make a deal with Dipper is SO good 

    It shows how well the show is keeping track of itself and just flows really well as just a random series of summer events 

    I am absolutely loving this show. 9/10 so far. Would recommend. 

    @Ranryu would be so proud of me 😔

    In other news, I've been completely procrastinating this short story and uh it might have been due several hours ago and I'm still not done with it cuz I've been binging Gravity Falls on YouTube.

    It depends on the spirit. Sometimes they grant special powers or offer information. Sometimes… they bring people back from the dead. Sometimes they aren’t looking for anything and just want to help.

    Nethek shrugged. Maybe? I think spirits have shapes of their own. I don’t know how they’d ask for something.

    “Spirits are the souls of moments,” Nethek replied. “The substance of things that don’t have substance. Like hatred or love expressed in one second. I… don’t know exactly how to get in contact with them. The legends say they approach humans for something to feed on— sometimes emotion, sometimes other things that don’t make sense. Like leaves in certain shapes or a bunch of food. Depends on the spirit.”

    Yes ”He made deals,” Nethek replied. “But something went wrong when you… when you…” killed Gaioh. That was when he started going insane. It got worse after you left, Bea. A lot worse.
