    The invitation dropped sadly. - “By all means!” She led him through the grand doors into the dance hall. Tables around the edges of the room were filled to the brim with food and drinks, as well as periodic areas with armchairs where guests could sit and talk as they ate. The floor in the middle of the room was empty, and tiny silver instruments floating above played soft, happy music while floating crystals refracted the light of a glowing chandelier all over the room. Xanther snorted and began to laugh. ‘How did I get in here’. You’re funny!” - exploits :3 “We’re glad to have you for as long as you’re here.” She smiled. “That sounds like quite the adventure.” She grinned.

    "Oh, that's wonderful!" She grinned. "How's that going for you?" "Of course!" Assuming he'd folded the invitation, they appeared in a beautiful courtyard overlooked by a castle. "Wonderful to meet you," Symbol greeted. "Hello, Kiri!" Symbol, the dark-haired host, wore a beautiful purple gown. "Welcome to the party, and happy 4000 pages!" She'd arrived in a courtyard overlooked by a grand castle and surrounded by beautiful gardens. He held up his own invitation. "I'm a Narrator, of course!" - Symbol accepted her polite greeting, initiated some small talk, and gave her a handshake before she left.

    Symbol grinned. "Welcome to my castle; happy 4000 posts! What kind of news?" "Of course!" "Let's go to the party," Xanther said again. "Who are you?" Bat demanded. "Xanther Renthax, of course. I just told you that!" - Symbol laughed and shoved all the pineapples to the side, using them to create a pineapple juice fountain.

    Jidah did indeed feel much better, now that she felt more able.

    "I think we just need to find a--" The man appeared in front of them with a flff of smoke, making Bat jump and squeak. "Oh, calm down," he said, tossing his long, luscious hair. He wore a red suit coat. "Let's get introductions out of the way. My name is Xanther Renthax. You're Tam Lennox, and you're Bat Whitlock. Wonderful to finally meet you both, even if I personally would have postponed this meeting. Now--- I believe there's a party going on? Shall we go?" Bat just stared at him. Symbol greeted him in the courtyard of her castle with the same enthusiasm. "Wonderful of you to come! Happy 4000 pages!" "Anything you can think of," she replied cheerfully. "Unspecified food and beverages, including but not limited to roast beef, cider, wine, cheese, pineapples..." she looked around. She wouldn't mind meeting Selppaenip here, too. "Anything you want. We have music and dancing, too!"

    "Floating sticks of wax that I'll light after it gets dark! Would you like any food or drinks?" "Yeah," Bat agreed, carefully folded it in half only one time, and stuck it in his bag pressed between the pages of his notebook.

    He arrived in a beautiful courtyard surrounded by gardens and overlooked by a grand castle. Tiny candles floated in the air, despite it only being late afternoon for now. "Hello!" A grinning, dark-haired woman wearing a long purple-and-silver gown walked over. "I'm Symbol. Welcome to the 4000 page party!" "That doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to dance!"

    “I’m sure your Author can find time in his boring daily schedule.” She glared threateningly at @SpiritOfWrath. Don’t worry, last time the party went on for tens of pages. The man, sorry. Just tryna highlight that he wasn’t there before. They did receive the invitations, as the four thousand page party only happened once. Ever. “Oh,” Bat said. “Cool. Look at that.”

    "My castle." She indicated the invitation floating over his head. She shrugged, then frowned at the piece of paper above her head. See my post above. "A party?"

    Symbol grinned from the balcony above the huge double doors of her palace. Four thousand pages, and still the legacy continued. She’d see it continue far beyond this, she hoped. Five thousand, ten thousand, forty thousand. But for now, we celebrate. Every character in the Thread received an invitation floating directly over their heads. She used the template Sequence had created earlier, with her own note at the end. Greetings, beloved inhabitants of The Longest Thread! On behalf of this millennium's host, Symbol, I would like to formally invite you to a celebration for our Thread's 4,000th page! Can you believe it? 4,000 pages already! It feels just yesterday we were celebrating 3,000! There will be festivities, refreshments, and everything of the sort located at Symbol's castle! With love and appreciation, Narrator and co-host, Sequence P.S. Folding the invitation twice will teleport you to the venue seamlessly! (But the feature will be inactive until the party begins) P.S.II. Violence is not allowed. Also, don’t destroy anything, and don’t commit arson. -Symb. She grinned down at her newly refurbished castle and her lush, beautiful courtyard. A small corner of the Thread, yes, but still hers. “A place worth protecting,” she said aloud, then turned to go greet her guests.

    She shook his hand happily. "I'm called Symbol. Wonderful to meet you. And just in time for my four thousand page party, too! Three more posts, just three more. Isn't that amazing?"

    "Fine," he said, eyeing him back. The man was watching them from an alley. How long had they been here? Bat led her down the street looking for a shop. "Good question," a voice replied. Symbol appeared. "Hello." Aw, that's pretty sweet :)) "Good question. I'm having a hard time following it myself."

    She eyed him suspiciously, then took a bite. “Not bad,” she commented, and promptly devoured the whole thing. It was clear she enjoyed it more than she admitted.
