    Bat sighed. "Right. Yeah." "Oh! Yes, that sounds good!"

    Bat frowned. “That’s… right. That’s true. Maybe we could make some kind of Plotblade be the bait.”

    “But I don’t know what he’d want… besides you, and we’re not using you as bait. Maybe Cricket, but I don’t really wanna make anyone bait.”

    “I know how to use it,” he affirmed. “Maybe we pretend like we’re willing to bargain with him, and then teleport me close?” Teleport me. He grinned again— he couldn’t help it.

    “We wouldn’t let you get hurt,” Bat promised. “What else can you do?” Bat’s eyes lit up. “Oh! Right! Right, I have those!” Maybe he could be useful! He beamed.
