    Bat blinked, then followed and knocked on her door. “What’s this about… pets?” She nudged his chin with her snout. “Hmm?” Ruia appeared next to him. “Hello. What seems to be the trouble?”

    She screamed and threw something that shattered. She collapsed and hugged her knees.

    Bat blinked. “Uh…” I wanted another pet! She frowned. “Huh. That sounds dangerous.” His hair tickled her snout and she sneezed.

    She tried again, then stomped forward and touched them.

    She chopped happily on the apple. "I dunno," she mumbled. "So why were you looking for a dragon?" There didn't appear to be any escape. However, Tam appeared in Bat's cave and shook him awake. "Hey, I found somewhere we can stay," she said. "You escaped!" "Yeah," she said, and smiled. Bat frowned, but before he could express any concern, he appeared next to the real Tam. He blinked at her. "I thought you said you escaped," he said.

    She frowned, tried again, then growled in frustration.

    She wasn't entirely sure what she was seeing. "Ooooh! Foooood!!"

    She saw whatever she expected to see. She hopped onto his shoulder and draped herself like a scarf. "Okie."

    She took a deep breath and smoke curled toward it.

    Elliot went back to sleep. "But I wanna trust you though."

    Haly moved over to the throne and ran her fingers over it, then looked up and felt for anything like TAAron.

    He stared at her. "...pets. Oh. Uh, I'm Elliot."

    "No," she whined. "I wanna stay." He glared at her. "Who are you? What the heck is this?"

    After a moment, it worked. He sat up, then sputtered. "H-- what?" She sucked the statue into her claws and followed him. "Because are human!"

    Her eyes widened and she reached down to delicately take it in her claws. "Ooooo...."

    The guy kept snoring on the couch.

    Eh. She looked hopeful and maybe excited for a moment. Then her face fell and hardened as she jumped to a higher branch. "Don't trust you."

    Is that all? She tilted her head, tail dropping to hang behind her. "Humans hate me! So we could be buddies!"

    Uh...... dunno. Do you know what you are? She clawed back to the top of the branch and swept her tail fin over her snout. "Uh........ so................ what does hate mean?" She asked, sounding embarrassed.

    "Sorry," she giggled, then swung to hang upside down on the branch. I dunno.
