  1. ...why..? PSYDUCK *ahem* I good
  2. You can glare all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that it's fricking time consuming to write chunks like that! - Beosta bounded after him. - Spren got angrier. All I ever wanted, she began calmly, was for you to want me. Appreciate me. All I wanted was to be your spren. But you--- you actively tried to GET RID of me! You HATED me! You FORGOT me AND NOW YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO WONDER WHY I'M ANGRY. Yep! All scattered everywhere but yep Centisil and millicil, maybe? Idk, might be easier to just keep them consistent.
  3. Well, hmph yourself, Tam. - Beosta cackled and turned into a wolf so she could eat the shoe. - Reading that, Spren felt something she’d never felt before. Spren was angry. That’s okay because it was made up. Snow giggled with delight. “Oh, not a college for myself. For my daughter.” She smiled sadly. “Thank you.” She looked down at her feet as the sun cleared the horizon. “I really should be going,” she whispered. But… scud, she was scared. Just because she’d opened this chasm in front of her feet didn’t mean she wanted to jump into it. She had no clue what was down there. “Contact shock,” Beosta decided. She grinned. “Exactly.” Lady Bug laughed in a rumbly manner. Well, then. Aren’t we tough and protective. I don’t understand why you bother pretending like this.
  4. "With... with someone else." She sounded like she was about to cry... if she could cry. "But nobody wants me......"
  5. "My name," she said sadly. "But I'm not wanted where I was supposed to be..."
  6. The city beyond it was incredible. The sky was shiny--- well, the top of the cavern was coated with a shiny metal that had a sky-like effect. There was no visible sun, but a tiny, almost-too-bright-to-look-at orb sat on a spire at the top of every single building. The buildings themselves, at least in this area of town, were made with sweeping architecture and no particular theme. One building stood, large and grand, made of glimmering white concrete. Another swept low to the ground like a splash and seemed mostly constructed of metal and glass. Somehow, though, there was a very cohesive feel to the entire area. Like it should and did function as a single city. Bat felt dizzy. This was nothing like back home. So this was what they'd all been missing... - Hehe. Yeah. The Beosta in the dream, though, had red hair and strange, pointed teeth. She'd also get a wicked grin on her face when Shoe wasn't looking. She offered him a small device that looked like a glue stick. Aw, sick. "Can you play Spring?" - He nodded thoughtfully, letting the thoughtful silence stretch thoughtfully before he spoke. "To begin with, I would prefer to work here when possible," he articulated thoughtfully, in a very deliberate manner. "For a first payment, I would like to secure my family's future, so perhaps the locations of some diamond mines I ought to invest in. After that, normal hourly wages or a salary would suffice, which I could perhaps spend occasionally on some of your technology and commodities." He paused thoughtfully. "Have you any excellent colleges?" He was a very thoughtful man. - Symbol hugged her knees a little tighter. "I already feel human enough," she whispered. "I don't know if I'm ready. Rebus, if... if something goes wrong... if I go wrong... fix me? Please?" - "Iron skin and electric shocks," Beosta decided. - "Fire?" Rose asked hopefully. - I'm just giving her some trauma, Lady Bug replied sweetly. Exactly what she wanted. I'll be cutting off most of her abilities in just a moment, and I won't ask for your permission. A tiny little marble with tiny little wings flew over and bumped into the marshmallows. "Hi," she said sadly.
  7. uhhhhhh idek no it's not double preach My biggest problem with AI is honestly the problem of giving credit. Training it on the works of people who never said that was okay is incredibly unethical, especially since there's very little recourse for the artists whose art is used to train. And then of course anybody who tries to pass of AI "art" as their own. Though I will also say--- I hate that artistic jobs could be stolen by AI. I hate that.
  8. "--Sorry. I meant me. They make sure I didn't lose anything. They have to be strict with what energy leaves the Pocket, which is why they're so mad at Jidah right now..." "Custom. Singular. Not multiple. Apparently Customs is a term from---" He cut off abruptly, smile faltering. "Anyway! Who's coming?" @CoderDrag0n8 @Through The Living Glass @Spark of Hope @BlueWildRye The young man tilted his head. "Who? What's wrong?"
