    Which one and now would they go about fixing it? “Then just make another me,” he snapped. “I can’t stand another minute holed up in that house!” - She shook her head. “Not if we can get the machines out.” She showed her the scan. She’d marked tiny anomalies in her torso, arms, neck, and head. “…which will likely require extensive surgery.”

    Ria didn’t notice. He turned on her. “Stop following me!” - “They’re synthesizing the poison with her blood!” Ria swore. “Aden, shock him and see if that helps.” Aden did so.

    “Like I worried, she’s in danger. There’s a slow acting poison in her. A lot of it.” He slammed the front door of the cabin and ran around the corner, hoping to lose her. - “Work on the poison antidote,” she said. The scanner in the other corner finished. Ria walked over. “You can get up now.” Five did. Ria’s eyes boggled out of her head when she saw the scans. “Sure. Where?”

    “I don’t know. I’ll look at the implants more in depth, but that’s what I came up with. ”As for Five…” she bit her lip. He scowled at the ceiling, then hauled himself off the bed. “I’m going for a walk.” The door slammed behind him. - “Stull… I find it hard to believe they’d pump anything more than this into ANYONE.”

Like it hasn’t been eight hours since they had her.” Ria grimaced. “Honestly, Five may be looking at a blood transfusion… I’ve got your results here. Looks like you have a LOT of implants.”

    “Sure.” He stood up, moving his tech pad under his arm. “Please?” - “I’ve never even SEEN half these toxins,” she said. “The sheer amount of fear and pain amplifying toxins… and there’s a mellower in there somewhere. Plus a slow acting poison. I’d guess they have her the antidote every day, but I’m going to have to reverse engineer it before she dies.” “But there’s still so MUCH… none of it’s gone away yet. Like it hasn’t been eight hours since they had her.”

    He closed his eyes, feeling anger bubble up to his throat. He took a deep breath and forced it back down. “Can I have some wine or something?” He’d never drunk before, but these stupid emotions weren't doing anything for him. He was snapping at Tam, for goodness’ sake. - Ria came back. “Come with me,” she told Five, who got up to follow her. “We have to fet a scan.” Once she was in the machine in the other room, Ria turned to Irie. “I’ve never seen anything like this.” “Naw, don’t worry about it.”

    Aden shrugged. “I’m doing some research. I don’t suppose you know anything…?” If you want, he can remember some random passwords or something if that fits with his character somehow if not I can make Aden hack it so no pressure “Thought so,” he grumbled. “Narrators forbid I get to make a choice of my own once in a while.” He opened his door, slammed it, plucked her off onto the chair and flopped into his bed. - “Good.” She beamed. She watched. Rose stood up, feeling ashamed but somewhat better.

You think either of our Authors would let me do anything anyway?” hmm maybe I HAVE been a lil heavy handed lately… Sorry Bat *cough* - She smiled, though the thought of the needle made her shiver. “Thanks for making me sleep first.” She waved at him.

    She grinned. “It seems we have a front runner.” Gotcha I’ll ping you after He pulled away. “You don’t have to babysit me.” - She did. Her head kind of hurt, but she still had her blanket, which made her smile. She hugged it. “It didn’t hurt.”

    Ria returned after a good twenty minutes as the machine powered down and moved out of the way. “Perfect,” she said. “Thank you.”
