    What were you doing? Daryglade grinned, did a flip, and swam off in the air towards the village. Kelyx tilted his head. “She’s acting weird. More… Daryglade than usual.” “Sure was,” Kelyx said cheerfully. He stood alone in a huge black room. The ground curved slightly under his feet, and stars were visible above. A woman stood nearby, glowing white and rippling. You may join them by giving up your power for a time. We will keep it here until you elect to depart.

    “I’m sure your friend can control herself,” Daryglade said lightly, flipping right side up. Her hair flopped into her face, and she blew it off. “She must have SOME good traits buried deep inside that living mummy.” She grinned. Daryglade waved at her. “Hi!”

    “Yup. The townspeople take us in a lot.” “I’m sure that face of yours is a mask or something,” said a voice right in front of her. A girl appeared in front of her with a little pop, hovering upside down and cross legged in the air. Her red hair fell toward the ground in waves, and her freckled face grinned at Latent. She had an arm tattoo that almost matched Kelyx’s. “Be a real pity otherwise.” “Daryglade,” Kelyx chided, but his lips twitched in amusement. Daryglade waved at him from being upside down.

    “Jidah’s in this village. We’re just gonna go see her. I found you in Açila by following the beacon she’d arrived in Customs with.”

    Kelyx beamed. “You flatter us. Thanks. Wait until you see the night sky!” Kelyx beckoned them after him toward the outskirts of a tiny lil town. Strangely, there were no stones in sight. The houses were made of wood or clay. It might be a good time to mention that Kelyx had a band of tattoo around his upper left arm. The people who passed by stopped to smile at the party, waving cheerfully or staring with fascination at Kelyx and Ver. Mostly Ver.

    “Thank goodness,” she panted, grabbing a drink and scooting over to Shoe. @Through The Living Glass Rose fired the laser at the zombie’s head. Mr. Whitlock took several ingots of copper, placed them in a large sack, pulled out a compass that matched Rose’s that Bat had stolen, and vanished. Lady Bug manifested him without Narration, with a pair of glasses that he now needed. He had no weapons, and he stood in a dark stone hallway lit only by torches. Heavy metal doors appeared periodically on the walls, vanishing every few seconds. At any given time, there were five or six in sight. A light could be seen down one tunnel, where stairs led upward. Gotcha. I may do some more sketches before I decide on the actual composition and color scheme. I’ll go no glasses for now, though he’ll have them in Symbol’s subplot (I might draw them together sometime) because Lady Bug enjoys slighting people in lil ways. I’ll try and design some teleporters and lasers based on the Portal tech, and I’ll find a couple potential poses for Rebus.

    The Star stepped forward and took the energy, absorbing it into herself. She glowed a little brighter. You’re all cleared to go down. Kelyx stepped forward and reality blinked again, leaving them in a field of green grass sparsely populated with trees.
