  1. Symbol nodded earnestly. The woman narrowed her eyes. "That's a cruel twist of fate," she murmured. "Come with me." Symbol followed without hesitation.
  2. Scudface, that's what you are
  3. *yawn* When you've done nothing all day but you also aren't really in crunch time yet so it's maybe okay
  4. @KnightSkye Eepy squeaked and flapped her wings frantically.
  5. She flapped her wings in excitement and happily pushed the button. And then they were somewhere else. Doesn’t matter where. They’re outside the preserve now. @Through The Living Glass can GM for the setting if she feels up to it
  6. She frowned at it. “‘D- Dee… dessert?” She perked up. “It says dessert!!”
  7. The dial had tick marks with words like "continue," "freeze," and "destroy." The button beside it was glowing as well. The dial was set to "freeze." "I wanna press a button," Eepy said.
  8. Eh, idk. Not really, honestly. TPBM needs a hug. *hug*
  9. Never yet. I want to. TPBM should be sleeping right now.
  10. Eepy clung to his head. "Don't know," she chirped nervously.
  11. The woman scoffed. "Pass through? She's passing through here?" Symbol tilted her head. "Why not? What did I do?" The woman just stared at her incredulously. That's... a good question. @KnightSkye All the staff had vanished from the base. All that was left was a gently flashing dial on one of the control panels.
  12. That song was beautiful Thanks Unrelated edit from several hours later: I started working through a serious backlog today. It was around eleven P.M. and I went downstairs to see my folk’s and such. Conversation turned to a place we’d lived before that my dad really loved. He talked about the doghouse we built for a dog who never used it, as she prefers to be inside with us. He talked about the coconut trees. He talked about going back when that house was demolished and standing on the grass and thinking how so much house can be crammed in a small space. I usually push the past away because it doesn’t matter anymore, and because it’ll make me sad. But I didn’t tonight. Instead I listened to him describe the interior layout of our house there. Eventually he went to bed. I was petting the dog, and mom was in the couch. I told her how I don’t remember much from when I was younger— just moments here and there. Some of the moments I remember— many of them— are associated with a moment of chagrin or regret, but they remind me of someone or something that made me happy. Others are moments when I was happy. I remembered some good friends from a long time ago. I remembered moments with them or things about them that made me sad because I wish I knew where they are now and how they’re doing. I wish they were part of my life. I don’t know if I ever let myself feel the loss before. I generally don’t let myself feel those things. Tonight I cried tears that were years overdue. This isn’t a sad thing. I’m trying to confront a past that I blocked out BECAUSE it was happy, and come to terms with the fact that I’ll never get it back. Maybe once I do that, I’ll be able to trust the future again. Maybe I’ll be able to open up to disappointment for the sake of feeling that joy again. I’m gonna write down as much as I can possibly remember. Guys… I think I’m gonna be okay.
  13. Some places on the floor were scuffed and dustless. Before Symbol could respond, there was a quick whoosh and an arrow bounced off the pillar right by his head. A woman stepped out of the shadows. She wore a green cloak just like the girl and held a crossbow. “What are you doing here?” She demanded, alternating her aim between Symbol and Rebus.
  14. “Yeah…” Symbol headed up the stairs to find another layer. Some layers were behind doors and furnished as residential areas, but nobody was around any of the layers. A layer of dust coated everything. Rose started cutting off their legs. Bat had disappeared merely because a certain Author wasn’t sure what to do with him, and was too lazy to write anything out without other characters around. Maybe I would be more motivated in exchange for a plotline.
  15. Haly had once again been rendered characterless. Perhaps Glass would run a plot for her too?
  16. Ian watched, eyes wide, and turned away. He felt sick.
  17. The butterfly gave up and ate a bunch of animals.
  18. Ian frowned and went to see the river more.
  19. The butterfly got distracted by a mole popping out of the ground. It nommed the mole.
  20. This irritated the butterfly and it dropped him. Then continued to chase.
