  1. *shlops irritatedly*
  2. He smiled. "Thank you." - "To... where we live," he said carefully.
  3. *flesh puddle* *shlop*
  4. "Positive," Bat promised. Then he shot the last one. - "That's... interesting. All right. We might take you through some microelectrotherapy when we get there."
  5. Thanks *hugs* *squeezes*
  6. "The smaller... oh, her?" He pulled aside the curtain, and there was Five. "Thanks," Bat told the crystals, and shot all the people. - "They'll be fine," he promised, and moved over. "Headaches? Numbness? You want water or anything?"
  7. "I'm guessing it's your implants." He frowned. "Five?" "Okay. We'll do it." - "Another truck."
  8. He nodded. "Can you remove yourself from the other hosts?" - "The Begonia Clan. Well, not work for, exactly. That's where I live." "Yeah, I saw they got to you with their metal and implants. I don't know how to fix 'em, but we have an engineer specialist."
  9. Thanks "She can," Bat told the crystals. "...how did it work, Tam?" - "I'm Travis. We're keeping this one under for now. You know him?" He pulled the curtain back a little to reveal Aden, unconscious and badly scratched up. A man found him to be awake. "Hey. Congrats on being alive."
  10. "The crystals want to be sentient, I think?" - @null Starlight woke up in a similar place as Irie, but she wasn't there with him. A gangly, redheaded teenager poked his head outside the curtain. "Hey, you're awake. Nice. Oh, and congrats on living."
  11. Yay now I just have to decide where home is, sigh
  12. Can you come here? And make these crystals into a real person but not a spreadable-- uh, you know? - Aden reached over and squeezed her hand on an impulse. *time skip* @null After he sent the distress signal, he also passed out without Irie's powers. And so did Five. Irie woke up in what seemed like the back of a truck with a cover over it, laying on a cot. She'd been bandaged and changed into a sturdy nightgown (never hospital gown, never ever ever.). A curtain divided the rest of the space from view. She'd been strapped down to the cot, likely because of the bumpy road they traveled. A small electric lantern provided the only light, since the windows were painted over.
  13. "Come on, then." Tam? - "No. I don't have service."
  14. "Tam might be able to help you." He raised the gun. "Or I could kill you now." - "Thought so," he sighed. "I'll send a distress signal, then."
  15. my house I wanna gone home anyway
  16. “No. But I have an idea. Release everyone else and come with me.” - Five nodded. A lie. “I’m catching faint signals from the east,” Aden said. “We should probably… we’ll have to take our chances… can anyone still move?”
